Those are great results. I'm assuming these are day 3 results?

Oestradiol would be measured in pmol/L in this country - which is different to America. Most of the info you see when you Google are measured in different units.
The normal range during the follicule phase is 130-500 - so you're fine.

Did you also take tests later in your cycle to measure progesterone?

cedar12 · 26/10/2007 09:42

Thanks Nancy my gp is not to hot on fertility issues. My Progetorone on day 21 was 14.2 they have lost day2 results!!

cedar12 · 26/10/2007 09:50

I think I ovulated late if that makes any difference.

Nancy66 · 26/10/2007 11:14

Yes it will make a difference.

A reading of 14.2 on day 21 would indicate that you didn't ovulate.

Do you have long cycles?

cedar12 · 30/10/2007 09:36

Thanks for your help Nancy they retested yesterday the results were 86 so i think that means I must have ov late. I had ivf in the summer and it mucked my cycle up.

oh god, big news, we are changing hospitals. had enough of docs being evasive and not taking responsibilty. so have spoken to liverpool womens hospital andd they will accept us as patients with a referral from our gp

DungunGirl · 30/10/2007 09:53

Hi there
Sorry to muddle in...but can I ask what these day 3 tests are? I have been told by my GP to have day 21 bloods done....so was wondering what the day 3 bloods were?

cedar12 · 30/10/2007 09:55

I think it just to have something to compare to my consultant said day 21 are the most important.

OP posts:
lissiethevampireslayer · 30/10/2007 09:57

sounds right cedar.

cedar12 · 30/10/2007 10:01

Sorry Lissie missed your post that great news about the hospital. I hope you get a bit further this time with some treatment. How the course going and ds potty training going.

lissiethevampireslayer · 30/10/2007 10:09

one of the first things they swill do is give me antibiotics

cedar12 · 30/10/2007 10:14

Well done to ds that great in a week. Lucy took forever! Do you take the antibiotic now or when you get pg it such I simple thing they should have done it ages ago.

OP posts:
DungunGirl · 30/10/2007 10:15

Thanks Cedar. That makes me feel better....I'll just sit tight until day 21.

lissiethevampireslayer · 30/10/2007 10:17

i know, i only spoke to a nurse and she said that they would def take us, i explained about the GBS and she asked how many pgs id been given antibiotics in when i said none she asked why.
i will have to take them in the 1st 2w of pg with top ups

im so cross about it.

cedar12 · 30/10/2007 10:26
