1st time TTC ever, currently in my TWW and experiencing quite light cramping sporadically?

Very light, doesn’t affect what I’m doing. I’m 3dpo so still very early but I normally don’t get cramping until the day my period comes?

Is this normal? I really, all my life, have never got cramps until just befor AF is due and this started yesterday!

Is it normal during TWW

Does this mean I’m out?

It's too early to mean anything I'm afraid. I'd recommend trying to find something to occupy yourself with for the next week or so.

Good luck 🤞

Hello - you're probably only noticing it now because you're hyper aware of your body now that you're TTC.

Think of it this way - even if you conceived this cycle, your body would have no clue at 3DPO. The embryo implants between 6-12DPO (9 is the most common) and until then your body is blissfully unaware. So right now your symptoms aren't really symptoms.

Even after implantation, I'm afraid the symptoms are created by progesterone and completely overlap with pre menstrual symptoms so there's no point second guessing until you've actually got your BFP pretty much :)

Thank you everyone sorry I worked myself up thinking it meant my period was around the corner and that we were out

But yeah I doubt even if we’re out I’d get symptoms for af now

I guess I’ll do this over the next week or so until I test and know an answer!

Thanks for your advice - feeling hopeful we could’ve conceived this month and that it’s not a BFN

I totally get it - definitely been in the same boat! I'm now on cycle 13 and even though I feel I've had all of the symptoms over the past year it's still hard not to get worried/excited when one crops up - even if I know I should just ignore it. Genuinely though I've had everything from the metallic taste to nosebleeds to lightning crotch and nausea - all were PMS symptoms in the end!
