Clearblue advanced fertility monitor?

Anyone had any success with this? The one with the touch screen

I’m on cycle 3 and this cycle started using the ovulation tests themselves. I’m in my TWW now so there’s hope I could be pregnant but my mind once again is going crazy so I’m thinking about what we should try if we end up on cycle 4!

This month we’re DTD every other day rather than just fertile week and sporadically, but more organised but hope it gives us a chance

Is the CB monitor worth the money? Just in case we do end up on cycle 4!

And does it differ from the ovulation tests alone? Does it just record the data?

Place marking as I would like to know this too!

I've been using it for the past 6 months (not very successful so far, but that's prob me, not the machine!).

The first month, it struggled to identify my high and peak windows, but now I get a pretty consistent 4-5 days of highs followed by a peak. Just a point to note, the Peak on the monitor is usually a day later than another OPK because you're doing it first thing, so I'm assuming Peak is actually ovulation day. I don't bother to test the next day, as it will automatically show 2 peak days, no matter what it reads.

Its a bit expensive, each stick is about £1, but I'm finding it a lot easier than temping. You only need to do it for about 1 week per cycle, and it gives you the prized high likelihood days in advance of ovulation!

I've been using the clear blue connected kit which sounds very similar to the monitor but is a lot cheaper (£40) and you just download the app onto your phone. When you POAS the stick connects to your phone via bluetooth and records the data in the app. You can also compare different cycles. I've been using it for three months after having coil removed just to track ovulation and I've used it properly for the first time this month for TTC. Won't know for a few weeks whether it has worked well or not!

I used the clearblue advanced test ("disposable" but you can actually use the same monitor with new sticks), definitely helped narrow down my fertile days and worked first month for me. I would recommend keeping an eye on your cervical mucus, and also testing in evening with cheap OPK's.
