Advice needed ASAP ! Bleeding CD 17-20

Hi People, so myself and DH are TTC #1 with 2 years, anyways last cycle I was one day late (am usual 27/28 day cycle) done a pregnancy test after bleed just in case was BFN . This cycle i started bleeding , lightly then heavier flow bright red flow started cd 17 and tailed off cd 20 . This would be about 10 days early .... any thoughts ? Thank you in advance,

Could it be ovulation bleeding? Can you do another pregnancy test just in case?

Thanks for the reply, the bleeding has almost stopped now , it started the night of dec 31st so has been there for almost 3 days . I've never heard of ovulation bleeding, will do another test in a few days when AF was supposed to come jan 11th and see , very frustrating! I might ring GP tomorrow and see can I get blood tests done. So disheartening the TTC journey :-/

I know, it’s a horrible journey. I’m 17/18 months in and had an ectopic this past October and lost my tube, so now I’m even worse off than I was before.

One of the signs for mine was random bleeding which is why I suggested a pregnancy test (just in case) but I’ve heard people talk about ovulation bleeding before (and hopefully it’s that!)
