Pregnacare can change your monthly cycle - why on earth?!

Just had a look at the Pregnacare packet and there’s a warning that it can change your monthly cycle. I’ve then googled and found so many poor reviews saying that it causes cramping and extends your cycle.

I can’t actually believe something would be sold that does this. They’re being returned straight away.

Was you going to take them for ttc ?

Yes, I should add that these are the pre-conception Pregnacare (folic acid and other assorted vitamins). It would seem that if you have a regular cycle there is a chance these tablets will mess that up and frankly I can’t believe they can be sold if there is that possibility!

I took them when TTC and didn't experience any changes to my cycle, but everyone is different

I have stopped taking them as found they were extending my cycles by up to a week and I was so regular before!

People like me take them in the hope that it will help their cycle, especially if it's really short. I took them but not sure if it did anything for my cycle and tried several others too. When you're desperately TTC and you don't have that regularity to count on you'll try anything.
It's like most things things though, different types suit different people (and budgets) x

To be honest i just take bog standard folic acid and vitamin d as advised by consultant, I think for what it is pregnacare is pretty expensive !

Yep, I think it's the B6 in them!

They extended my cycle by 6 days so I scrapped them 🙃
