Well, this is confusing!

I'm cd13 and I've just started bleeding. I've always had a clockwork 28 day cycle. I'm pretty gutted as I thought I was due to ovulate this weekend, and we've been having loads of sex and I was really optimistic this month.
Anyone experienced mid cycle bleeding? Was it a one off? Did you find the cause? I'm 41 and been ttc for six months and I'm starting to get a bit anxious!

Just to add I did an opk and pregnancy test and both negative!

Have you ovulated already? If so, it could well be implantation bleeding. What is the blood like?

I only got my period on the 21st December! I suppose it's possible. I was having a month off opks to ease the stress. Typical 🤣🤣
If it was implantation would it be picked up on a pregnancy test?
It was very dark. Not too much. Not like a period. Kind of reddy brown I guess.

I'm 42 and this year I've had two incidents of mid-cycle bleeding. It's never happened before so no idea why it happened although I suspect my age has something to do with it.

Sounds like either implantation or ovulation bleeding to me. I’d OPK over the next few days and see if you get a peak? If it’s already a peak I’d take a PG test too.

@SweetShopSurprise - implantation bleeds be awesome, but I feel like even if I ovulated very early all the timings would be wrong. I don't know. I guess I'll buy some more opks and see what happens.
@kirinm - I am for sure, feeling anxiety about my age! What if this is it! Have you seen a dr about your irregular bleeds?

@ClaraBean no because it's only happened twice. The first time I was in hospital and quite sick so just assumed that had affected my hormones and the second time happened just after sex (although on day or ovulation) so I put it down to being related to that. I've not had it since and I think that was 4 months ago now? Plus I don't need to be told I'm old by a doctor. I know I am!

If it’s implantation bleeding then wait a few days and retest and hopefully something should show x
