Chemical pregnancy trying again

Hi all
I'm pretty sure I've had a chemical pregnancy this month was positive pregnancy test 25th, 1-2 weeks clear blue. Then 30/12 spotting and yesterday 31/12 heavy bleeding red all day. I've not had any cramps really just very mild period pains.

Few Qs -:

How long does bleeding normal last?
When can you try again?
We did BBT monitoring this last month when should I start that again?

Thank you xx

Are you sure it’s definitely a chemical and not just an implantation bleed?

I’d test again when the bleeding stops.

Can’t really help you re the other stuff, I’d imagine it’s just when the bleeding stops and if you then get a BFN?

Keeping fingers crossed for you

Ime bleeding from a chemical is about the same as a normal period. By the time the bleeding stopped, I had negative tests. You can try again whenever you like (I was even told that after a loss at 11 weeks which surprised me).

Yes mine like a heavy period. Did test this morning still positive darkest line I've had on a cheap one 😂 guessing just takes time for hcg to go xx

Hey! I had a CP in October. I was 1-2 weeks on a clear blue (which was the first red flag as I was expecting it to be 3+) then spotting started a few days later. Spotting lasted about 4 days on and off then a week of VERY heavy bleeding, enough to soak through massive pads hourly. It took 2 weeks until a pregnancy test showed as negative- torture!! When I went to hospital though they said we can start trying as soon as the bleeding stops Smile best of luck!! Xxx @xem87

Thanks @Firsttry132 💕 how are you now?
I started spotting then quickly became pink then heavy red all day yday. I only needed normal pad was more when wiping and going to the toilet.

Today still bleeding but lighter so was hoping that's it 🙈

Did your periods start back normally?

Thank you xxx

Hi OP. I had a chemical pregnancy in August, and the bleed was just like a one of my regular periods, around a week long. Normal for me. However, 3 weeks later I was pregnant again, and am now 20w. Just so you don't lose hope. I've read in some places that in can actually be easier to conceive again straight after a cp, but I don't know how scientific that is, and obviously it depends how you feel. There's no physiological reason why you shouldn't try again straight away. Fingers crossed for you.

Thank you @LaMadrilena 💕 that's good to hear. Did you have cramps I thought would hurt more. How long until your tests were negative xx

@xem87 I’m good thank you, it was really shitty at first as all my friends are pregnant and then someone I work with announced her pregnancy the day after I lost mine! But feeling better now, my periods due next week so hoping it doesn’t come!!
I had very bad cramps as well as the bleeding, so bad I couldn’t even stand up at one point!
My periods went back to normal straight away Smile xxx

I had a chemical pregnancy on New Year's Eve 2019 , waited for my next period and was pregnant with DS in February x

Yes, but no more than a normal period. I was about 5+4w, I don't know if it depends how far along you are or what your periods are usually like. To be honest, I didn't bother doing any more tests, as I'd been to the hospital and they'd seen that there was nothing on the ultrasound.

I hope I'm that lucky 😍 we will just start trying when bleeding stops xx
