I want to start tracking my bbt to help me get pregnant. I already do the ovulation test. I am not sure what Basel thermometer to get. Any suggestions?

Hello, I think they're all quite similar to be honest, I use Femometer which is good (you buy the thermometer to use under your tongue and then track in a free app), but friends have used ones from boots or even pound land! As long as it's bbt (and has 2 decimal points), it will be fine x

Hello! I use the £10 femometer one and think it's absolutely fine for the task! Just remember it's BASAL and not Basel in case that throws up the wrong thing in your searches.

I wouldn't use the femometer app for the tracking though as their charts are pretty rubbish an algorithms not as reliable as Fertility Friend. So please consider using FF for your tracking :)

I use natural cycles and find it very good! I’ve gotten pregnant 4 times from using it- (unfortunately they needed in miscarriage) but Ive started using it again and have changed to “prevent pregnancy” rather than “plan pregnancy” it will send you a thermometer aswell. I should add I pay around £6 a month for it

I use natural cycles and their thermometer. Whatever one you get it needs to have 2 decimal places so for example 36.41 not 36.4

@ciara87777 I know I feel the same 😩.

I use the Premom app
