I can have the covid jab through work , they have changed advice now and say you dont need to delay trying to conceive just to not have the booster if you get pregnant between the jab and the booster and thats it fine to delay the booster until after pregnancy. I am thinking about having it , anyone else been offered it through work? X

RAA852021 · 14/01/2021 11:13

BFN for me. AF due 17/18. So on to the next month. I thought I could wait but took a cheepie test this morning.

Gives me a chance to work on getting my weight down which I suppose is good. Trying to stay positive though its not easy.

Tara1711 · 14/01/2021 11:23

I've just had some spotting, just 4 or 5 spots, light pink colour. Think AF might be on her way!

RAA852021 · 14/01/2021 12:05

@Tara1711 If it is AF...sooner she comes, sooner she can leave!

MgW1 · 14/01/2021 12:08

Can chemical pregnancies affect the length of the following cycle. BFN and no AF and usually regular ?!

Sar1010 · 14/01/2021 12:08

@Tara1711 could it be implantation bleeding? Or do you have a sense that you’re out? Sorry to hear about your BFN but it’s still quite early for you isn’t it?
I’m 11dpo today and I’m just not testing until 15 dpo. I break every month but not this time!! 😬 (we shall see)

BabyAR22 · 14/01/2021 12:17

@MgW1
@ZiggyStardustt
same here...

BubsNumber2inTheMaking · 14/01/2021 12:32

@RAA852021 I wouldn't test cheapies - even if they say sensitive, they often aren't! Not out till you're out! 💜

@MgW1 i think I ovulated 3 days late as a result of my cp last month so my period due date has pushed back too. Could you have ovulated later than you think?x

@BubsNumber2inTheMaking
Yes I guess its possible , just frustrating this waiting!!! Been having cramps for 5 days , hopefully it wont mess my cycle up too much xx

BubsNumber2inTheMaking · 14/01/2021 12:41

@MgW1 waiting is a killer! Especially when you're late. I was 5days late the month before my cp and it drove me nuts - I peed on so many sticks! 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️ Have you done any more tests? X

BubsNumber2inTheMaking · 14/01/2021 12:42

@RAA852021 that was supposed to say trust, not test! 🤦🏼‍♀️

Tara1711 · 14/01/2021 12:43

@RAA852021 that's so true!!

@Sar1010 yeah possibly! I don't normally have spotting before I come on so this is definitely different for me.
I'm due on somewhere between the 16th and 18th so yeah it could be a bit early!

What is strange for me is I've got no appetite, I haven't eaten anything since yesterday lunch time and don't feel like eating at all. Normally before AF I want to eat everything in sight!

Sar1010 · 14/01/2021 13:23

@Tara1711 ooooh that is strange! Sounds like a good sign to me. I’d hold off testing and see if the spotting goes away. Fingers and toes crossed for us! X

RAA852021 · 14/01/2021 13:52

@BubsNumber2inTheMaking - True! Crossing my fingers for you this month!

MgW1 · 14/01/2021 14:06

@BubsNumber2inTheMaking
Yes just another shadow !!! 🤣

Hi @MgW1 I have been offered it also and after much uncertainty have decided to accept it, so am booked in this Saturday. I think my decision would be different if I was pregnant currently, but the reality is there is risks with either decision x
BubsNumber2inTheMaking · 14/01/2021 14:09

@MgW1 😮 so bizarre!! 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️x

@BubsNumber2inTheMaking
Same with Frer. Not doing anymore testing !! X

MgW1 · 14/01/2021 14:15

@purplepoppet92
Yes good idea , i just want it out the way , is it pfizer or oxford ? X

Tara1711 · 14/01/2021 15:20

@Sar1010 yes I think I am going to test again on Sunday if AF doesn't show!

Keeping everything crossed for us both!! Xx

BabyAR22 · 14/01/2021 16:09

Apologies if it's already been shared on here, but which opk brand do you all recommend?

Sar1010 · 14/01/2021 16:31

Hey! @BabyAR22

This is my first cycle using OPK’s (7th cycle in total) and I went to evil Amazon and ordered the brand one step. I got 50 for very very cheap (maybe around £10)... I only used them cd10,11,12 and 13 and i could clearly see a faint line building to a really strong one for those days.

I would recommend them but then again I’ve only used these 😂

But this cycle has been so much better now that I’m using OPKs. I was worried it would make me more stressed but it’s actually chilled me out about because I know for sure I ovulated and dtd on the right days...

Hope that’s helpful x

Rmd123 · 14/01/2021 16:54

@BabyAR22 definitely ClearBlue advanced!

BabyAR22 · 14/01/2021 17:13

@Sar1010 thank you! I feel exactly the same. I just want to know for sure I am actually ovulating. It's only my first cycle, but I'm racing against time a bit as am 36 and this is my first time TTC. Glad to hear a cheapie solution seems to work. Bloody Amazon, but good in this instance.

@Rmd123 thank you!

Sar1010 · 14/01/2021 17:50

totally know what you mean re body clock... though I’m slightly younger. My sister in law is 36 and just conceived after 2 cycles! @BabyAR22 hopefully that is some reassurance! I know bloody Amazon... 😂
