@BabyAR22 I’m CD17 & 7 dpo. I’m going to try and wait until Tuesday (CD20, 10 dpo) but that’s prob a bit early! AF is due in a week (CD 25 & 15dpo). That took me a while to calculate lol.

SophieMorton · 09/01/2021 12:18

@Dogmum13 when is your AF due? Do you have a longer cycle? It’s hard thinking that maybe you’ll be the one who just shows later and then AF comes 😢 it’s a rollercoaster, especially after a yr of cycles. Sending you 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

IndigoJam · 09/01/2021 12:21

I'm on cd17 and only 2dpo. Period due on 19th. Going to be a long 10 days.

BubsNumber2inTheMaking · 09/01/2021 12:37

@MgW1 I reckon 9 days is too early. I only implanted at 8dpo last month so if you've done the same then not enough time for hcg to rise yet. Give it another couple of days. Keeping fingers crossed for you 🤞🤞🤞

@Dogmum13 13dpo is still early. Give it another couple of days. Ain't over till it's over!! Good luck! 🤞xx

@SophieMorton I'm due tomorrow. My cycles are short but sometimes luteal phase can be a couple of days longer. Yeah a year with no bfps at all is very tough

SophieMorton · 09/01/2021 12:48

@Dogmum13 yeah I’m usually 22-25 days but has been 25 for last 6 months. It cuts the waiting time down but also makes you think if LP is too short...have you had hormone levels checked during LP? Mine came back normal but it was a few years ago and I am much older now 😭🙄.

Tara1711 · 09/01/2021 12:56

Is anyone who is due around 17/18th experiencing any symptoms? I have really sore boobs and some cramping and sore nipples which is completely new for me!

ZiggyStardustt · 09/01/2021 13:15

Hi Ladies, hope it's ok I jump in, mumsnet virgin looking for a ttc support group! TTC #1 since Oct after coming off the pill in July and feel like it's neverrrr gonna happen. Huge congrats to the BFPs - it gives me hope. 7dpo and TWW is a killer.

Dogmum13 · 09/01/2021 13:19

@SophieMorton no never had anything checked. Was supposed to make an appointment this month but don't know if they will let me now due to lockdown 😔

SophieMorton · 09/01/2021 13:20

@Tara1711 literally no symptoms at all for me & due 17th. Although I do crave ice cream today and I’m not an ice cream fan and it’s freezing cold 🤷🏻‍♀️

Welcome @ZiggyStardustt the tww is even worse in lockdown no? 🙈🙈

SophieMorton · 09/01/2021 13:21

@Dogmum13 definitely try and get one booked, it’s worth checking. But I’m still 🤞🏼AF doesn’t come tomorrow for you!

ZiggyStardustt · 09/01/2021 13:30

@SophieMorton haha YES it's the actual worst! so little else to occupy ourselves with, I'm thinking of taking up knitting to stop myself from googling.

@Tara1711 I'm due around 17/18 too and had sore boobs on and off the last few days but nothing else. Trying not to symptom spot is easier said than done.

FluffyLittleDragon · 09/01/2021 14:08

@ZiggyStardust.....I like your name & I think you're right so I'm taking a page out of your book. Not bother to spot any symptoms because it's insane & just go with the flow 👍🏽. What will be, will be.

I'm trying to chill with a heat wrap on my lower back & hot water bottle on my front 🙁. I don't know what is happening to my body but I was actually excited about my first AF post implant removal & instead it was light then nothing & now spotting 😬🙈😕🤨🤷🏽‍♀️. I'm glad I did BD yesterday....brilliant timing 🥳.

Dogmum13 · 09/01/2021 14:18

Thank you @SophieMorton. I feel so hungover and dp says I look hungover too. Feeling like this and breast pain should be too big indicators but unfortunately I've had them before and it's meant nothing so can't get my hopes up xx

ZiggyStardustt · 09/01/2021 14:45

@FluffyLittleDragon haha thank you. aw I wish I could say I don't symptom spot, I totally do, but every month that goes by I get less and less convinced by them. I've spotted all kinds of things since we started ttc and not had a sniff of a BFP. oh that sounds rough, hope you feel better soon x

fingers crossed for you @Dogmum13 x

MamaPheebz · 09/01/2021 14:45

@MgW1 give it a couple of days and test again. I’ve got everything crossed for you. Xx

FluffyLittleDragon · 09/01/2021 14:58

@ZiggyStardustt thank you. If you don't mind me asking, do you find if you symptom spot every month it becomes depressing? I have a feeling that's what will happen to me 😒🙁😬😕. I'll become a bit obsessive & everytime it's BFN then it'll just hurt & upset me. I'll do my best to let it be 🤞🏽🫂.

MgW1 · 09/01/2021 14:58

@MamaPheebz
Thankyou Had cramps last month , nothing at all this month so im not hopeful and not bothered because we werent really trying over xmas. I think i ovulated on NYE xx

Dogmum13 · 09/01/2021 14:58

@ZiggyStardustt thank you. How long have you been ttc?

Annabelle0852 · 09/01/2021 15:01

@Tara1711 Due 17th/18th and have had on off cramps/niggles but nothing really painful. Be super bloated and gassy but putting it down to healthy eating kick. Boobs a bit swollen/heavy for this time in cycle.

TBH I'm not considering any of them symptoms as only 5DPO and I feel like symptoms wouldn't start until after implantation? (Veteran TTC'ers please correct me if the assumption is wrong!)

ZiggyStardustt · 09/01/2021 15:51

@Dogmum13 this is our 4th month trying and using OPKs. I know that's not long but everyone around me seems hold hands and get pregnant then tell you they got pregnant first try, so I was under false impression it would happen very quickly - mistake!

I read some of your ttc journey earlier in the thread, 2021 is your year, so many fingered crossed for you 🤞🏽. are you ttc dc #1? This thread seems hopeful for ladies getting BFPs further into their ttc journeys.

@FluffyLittleDragon lol yeah that's exactly my experience , we are definitely on the same page. I spot something and convince myself it's my month and then end up in tears when I get a BFN. I'm still symptom spotting (no rest for the wicked lol) but trying not to read anything into it this month. so sorry to hear your AF is coming and going that sounds frustrating. I don't know much about AF after implant, can it take a while to settle down like it can with the pill?

FluffyLittleDragon · 09/01/2021 16:08

@ZiggyStardustt, apparently it does & supposedly fertility returns quickly too. To put my mind at ease, I've contacted the Dr to check that my contraceptive implant wasn't masking an issue because I was always irregular 🤞🏽. Hopefully my Drs won't turn me away because I think I know my body.

BabyAR22 · 09/01/2021 16:41

@Tara1711 I am 8 dpo and starting to get sore nipples. Normally it's boobs but this time nipples. Fingers crossed!!!

BabyAR22 · 09/01/2021 16:43

I think I ovulated on NYE too! Have you taken a test yet? I'm going to try to wait until Tuesday. TWW sucks.

SophieMorton · 09/01/2021 16:52

@Annabelle0852 I always thought it was from implantation...it’s that process that starts to cause changes however I know some people that swore they could tell from conception but I think, if you’re tracking well, you would know when you conceive and it could be placebo...like it probably is for most of us who symptom spot haha. If it’s your fist DC every symptom could be something! You might have a better idea if been PG before but then again it can be different each time.
My mum said she had no symptoms with any of the boys but terrible with all us girls 😅
