Taking Agnus Castus/ Vitex

I’ve heard good things about taking Agnus Castus / Vitex for fertility but I think this is more for people with irregular cycles. I’ve also heard that you should only take it from CD1 to ovulation and then stop, but I’m on CD10 today so wondering whether to start today or wait for the next cycle.
What are peoples experiences of taking Agnus Castus for fertility, especially if you have regular 28 day cycles? And did you take it the whole way through your cycle or stop at ovulation?

Honestly I tried it for a few months at the start of last year and it didn't do anything for me (took it up to ovulation) I have fairly regular cycles though. It can be useful if you ovulate later on in your cycle to lengthen luteal phase I believe.

My cycles are regular and are now always 28 days but I tend to ovulate on CD17 and then have an 11 day luteal phase which is a bit on the shorter side.

I think I’ll leave it for this cycle and then start from CD1 of the next one. Been TTC for around 18 months and have started fertility investigations so feel like I’ve got nothing to lose!
