I think I know what a positive opk means - it says on the box the lh surge and probably ovulation occurs between 24/48 hours after? So how soon do you dtd after you get a positive? Same day? Wait 24 hours? It’s so confusing!! I have two children already but didn’t use these last time.

You're supposed to dtd in the run up to ovulation - your most fertile days are the 3 days leading up to it! So dtd today, tomorrow and the day after to cover your bases. BUT if you ovulate today (as ovulation can occur within 12h) you can get DTD in today but missed most of your fertile days, so in the future don't wait for the peak to get jiggy :)

Ideally you DTD regularly before the peak... sperm lives longer than the egg, so you want it there waiting for when the egg is released. But there's still a good chance at this point, so don't despair and go DTD ASAP!

My last cycle was wonky and I got caught out due to my LH peaking a few days before I thought it would. DTD once that whole cycle (evening of the peak) and I'm now pregnant (must have had a little time before I ovulated).

That should say *before and during the peak

Ahh I see!! I guess I find it hard to believe sperm can survive several days Hmm Lol!
