Stopping the mini pill

Hi :)

What are your experiences with stopping the mini pill (progesterone only) or missing quite a few weeks of them?

We were planning on trying for our second around now but for various reasons thought it would be better to wait a bit. Mum brain and Christmas I missed quite a few (3-4 weeks). We would both love it if I was pregnant but I have no idea whether it would even be possible this soon after 'stopping' it. I've done a few tests and all negative (no idea when to test as no idea if I even ovulated or if I did when), trying not to get our hopes up (if fate has intervened 😀)

Thank you and I hope this makes sense!

I got pregnant off missing 2 days of the mini pill, but it stopped my periods so I didn’t find out until 16 weeks anyway!

Hey!

I stopped my mini pill second week of November. I then had a bleed which lasted a week and had unprotected sex between then and now... I still havnt had another bleed and I'm getting lots of symptoms I wouldn't usually get! I'm going to be testing this evening when my tests get delivered 😀🤞🏻

@sazzysazz337 thank you for your reply :)
Oh blimey I bet that was a shock! I was so sick with my first I think I'd know before then, just driving myself a little mad testing 🙈

@emilyylouise thank you :) I haven't bled since I started it but I'm also breastfeeding (had a period at 7 weeks pp then went on this pill)
Good luck for this evening! 🤞🏻
