WARNING PIC&TMI implantation bleeding?

On 8dpo all day I was having a very light bleed which was brown in colour like rusty and every few hours when I would wipe.

9dpo as on picture it was like pinky/brown all day after wiping every few hours. Picture was from 9dpo and as you can see the first wipe was with the most blood and the least blood was from around half an hour after the first wipe.(this is so you can see how light it was.)

10dpo yesterday it was dying off but the colour went back to a rusty brown again.

Im now 11dpo, it has completely stopped, ive had implantation bleeding with my second but around 11dpo and at that point I noticed it after dtd with partner and thought it was a period. It wasn't until I pulled the tampon out to realise it had completely stopped so I tested 2 days later and was a bfp.

Any suggestions or advice will be appreciated, thankyou in advance.

Also today I've noticed I have noticed more discharge, I will be testing soon, I just don't want to use the only test that I have just yet.

I’ve had something very similar over the last few days!!!
Missed my pill a few days last week and had unprotected sex. On Monday I started to spot, light and pink in colour. Got heavier and darker on Tues/Wed. This morning looked exactly like your first picture and now has completely stopped.

I’m 11dpo (if I wasn’t on the pill) but I missed my doses towards the end of my fertile period so wondering if I’ve triggered an ovulation and this was an implantation bleed? Took a test this morning and it was BFN so I’m really unsure too. Think deep down I know this was a breakthrough bleed but clinging onto hope AF doesn’t show up on Sunday!

It certainly does sound like implantation bleeding too, was it heavy like a period or really light?

I've heard of so many people getting pregnant whilst on the pill and not even missing a single one so its very possible.

What pill are you taking?

I really have a good feeling and I'm not saying this because I just assume, but my nipples have turned dark and there is a part on my boob that aches the only part that aches when im pg.

It's actually making me want to test in the morning now but I dont want to waste the only test I have in at the moment, not just that I'm really nervous like nervous enough to hold off testing ever since I knew I had implantation bleeding.

Also you've still got some time left to get your bfp. You're not out yet!

Fingers crossed its implantation bleeding and you get your BFP @sunnybeam. I have had similar yesterday/today. Yesterday it was very pale pink mixed with some CM. Today is quite red in colour so I'm thinking its just the start of AF 😞 not exactly the uncertainty you want when you go into the new year. Will probably wait until Saturday to test if AF doesn't come properly tomorrow.

I’ve had very very light spotting today, it’s so light I’m sure it can’t be anything but I noticed because of the colour, like a watery browny red. I’m 7/8 dpo so probably too early but just found it so odd as if I don’t really get that.

@Sunnybeam on the Tues/Wed it got quite heavy and I needed a pad but was still less than my normal AF flow. I’m on gedarel 20/150, it’s a combination pill and apparently it’s a lot safer than a mini pill so I keep telling myself this was a breakthrough bleed.

My sister fell pregnant unexpectedly last year and the first thing she noticed was her nipples darkening! She also noticed lots of little white dots around her nipples - googled it and read it could be a sign of pregnancy so took a test and got a BFP 11 days after her suspected date of conception! So this is a good sign! I have my fingers crossed for you!

When are you due AF? Maybe hold off testing until closer to then to prevent any false negatives because the hcg is too low?

Although saying that, I plan on testing again this morning!

@pepper51846 I dont think I've had that pill but then again I've always stuck to mini pills as they are better for me.

Last night I felt so positive but now this morning I just don't know, maybe its just me doubting everything.

I tried to find the test I had spare but I have no idea where I placed it, I think my ds has had hold of it who is 2 in Feb 9th.

Im not sure whether shops are open today but I will try and get hold of one today.

My AF was due yesterday and still nothing so I just dont know what to think, I feel the fullness probably constipated, as I mentioned my nipples have darkened, ive had nausea since the spotting stopped mainly closer to tea time so the last 2 nights my appetite has been crappy, I also feel so exhausted at certain points of the day.

Maybe you're testing too early though because I've read to wait at least 5 days after implantation bleeding has stopped.

How is the bleeding today? Has it stopped or slowed down? I thought it was my period starting on 9dpo when the blood started looking like the pinky brown, which made it look dark red to my memory! But it was just too light and didn't get any heavier all the way through.

@Sunnybeam I know exactly what you mean, I keep swinging between being convinced I’m pregnant because I just have this gut feeling I am, and thinking it was a breakthrough bleed and I’m imagining all the symptoms!

Did you feel similar when pregnant with DS? This would be my first if I am so I don’t even have anything to compare to.

I’ve also been having waves of exhaustion, where I feel like I can barely keep my eyes open! Also felt very nauseous last night to the point where I didn’t stay up to ring in the New Year and went to bed early!

I think some shops are open for limited hours today so you might be able to get your hands on a test! FC for you!

Possibly, I’m still 2 days off from AF so would have expected the tests to pick something up if I am, but I guess if I ovulated late then all my dates should be pushed back by about 5 or 6 days.

@Chicca1990 thats sort of how mine was, literally no clots at all either.

I've had it before and assumed it was my period at first, but only lasted for a few hours but. I know it can last 3 days and I've heard others have just had very light bleeding for 5 and still got a bfp.

I dont think its happened too early for you, you can have implantation bleeding 6-12 days after ovulation, so you're definitely right it is very likely to be ib.

How is it doing now?

@Pepper51846 thats exactly it and I didnt feel that with ds no but I felt that with my first pregnancy. With my first I was probably cramping really heavy for 2 weeks straight it was horrible, honestly thought it was my period.

I've had 4 pregnancies 2 failed but I reckon I'd have had enough experience considering, but it still can be so confusing because everyone of them has been different.

As the second pregnancy was the one I had spotting with which was my first sign.

The 3rd was a missed period and also I really weird craving for water with really bad thirst.

Then this hahaha I just don't know what to think like you said. FC for you too, I will definitely have a look round today to get one.

Its hard enough when you're in the 2ww but when you've experienced ib it's even more confusing.

@Pepper51846 also I agree, sometimes women do ovulate a little later than usual as ive known so many have.

Even when they just thought they ovulate the same around every cd, but it can change each month for many reasons.

Also this is absolutely ridiculous but my dog has gotten so clingy and affectionate over the last 48/72hrs?? She keeps coming and resting her head on my tummy? I read somewhere that they can smell the change in hormones and are very sensitive to pregnant women? Probably a total coincidence and she just wants something from me hahaha

I've heard of that too so it doesn't sound ridiculous at all.

Its actually very common for dogs to sense changes, have you had any other symptoms?

Since before the spotting started I’ve had cramps, and a distinctive stabbing pain in my lower right side behind my hip bone, it’s still there now. I’m exhausted, a little nauseous and lightheaded at times. Got some heartburn today too. Breasts also beginning to ache a little. Feeling the need to pee a lot.

Have you tested yet? I will let you know when I have hold of one, im getting really Impatient now.

Hopefully it all turns out to be bfp for us, we will be due the same month.

Tested with a CB ultra early this morning and was BFN Ooohhh FC!!!

I really feel your pain, why do our bodies mess with us. 😥

Its really weird because my periods are rather heavy and last a full 7 days, they have never ever been 3 days and as light as they were.

I now plan to wait a week and if nothing has changed then maybe test again, gosh this is so painful.

What are you plans? You've still got time for a bfp.

I doubt I will get one now, it was silly of me to have thought I was... I really thought this was it. 😞

I keep trying to tell myself I’m not so the disappointment is less but I can’t help it with this gut feeling I am .

It sounds like your bleed wasn’t anything like a normal period, maybe you just conceived late in your cycle so it’ll take a few more days to have enough HCG to be positive?? Do you know what the sensitivity of your tests are? The CB Ultra Early I took this morning is meant to detect 10miu but I think most tests are standardised at 25miu. HCG doubles every 48hr apparently so could just still be too low!!

I’m going to wait until Sunday when AF is due, and if she doesn’t appear, take another test. I’m cramping quite a bit today though so I feel like she’s on her way

Exactly ive had this gut feeling too! Im just surprised it hasn't showed up!

Possibly or there isn't enough hcg yet, or maybe just the implantation hadn't finished when I thought.

The sensitivity is 20miu so im really confused, not sure how sensitive that is? It was the clear and simple green test strip.

I should have just stuck to the ones I normally get which is the clear and simple pregnancy test with the casing, as ive used them for every pregnancy so I trust them.

I hope the cramping isn't AF for you! Sometimes cramping happens in early pregnancy too, we don't want to see AF we want to see bfp's!!!

Well only time will tell i guess... I dont feel like I'm going to come on anytime soon, I also usually crave chocolate and any carbs but im not even doing that and I didnt while spotting either. Talk about being in limbo.

I’ve had such bad cramps since yesterday evening, fully expecting to wake up to a blood bath this morning but nothing
Took another CB Ultra Early and it had a faint blue line but it was going in the wrong direction? Horizontal instead of vertical? I’m so confused
