Supplements for ttc at 40

Getting ready to ttc number 2. Number 1 took 5 years and 3 miscarriages (unexplained) and I’m nearly 40 (and DH 43) so want to give it the best possible chance.

Has anyone got advice on what is most important (and for DH)? I took Ubiquinol and we both took Pregnacare conception last time when it finally worked but having done a bit of online reading it sounds like there could be other beneficial options? Huge confusing list in relation to ‘It Starts with the Egg’?!

Many thanks in advance.

I changed my pregnacare to Proceive Max for women which is designed for over 35s and has the most amount of "stuff" in it at higher concentrations.

It's not cheap - £50 for a month of sachets but often Holland and Barratt and Boots have 25% off or i would stock up when it was Boots points days

Also don't have it with water it tastes awful - always add to juice or squash

I have PCOS and currently pregnant with my first child. We were trying for 4 years, very irregular periods until I started taking MyOva (a supplement designed for PCOS) and folic acid every day. After 6 months of religious use my periods became like clockwork and then I got pregnant. Might be a coincidence but it seems unlikely! Have a look it might be suitable for anyone who’s TTC. Good luck
