Just that really! Interested to know of any positive stories. With TTC you can get yourself into a wormhole of negativity. Just started AF today ready to start TTC cycle 1 when it ends in a few days! Fertile period predicted to be around 8 Jan

Yea, I did twice. Tbe one in between took a year though.

PinkPlantCase · 28/12/2020 10:52

We conceived on the second cycle Smile that was when using OPKs though not just relying on assumed fertile dates.

DaenarysStormborn · 28/12/2020 10:53

I'm first cycle and day 2 today. Following to hear these positive stories! :)

reservoircats · 28/12/2020 10:56

I did too, first cycle off the pill. I appreciate that I am extremely lucky but we are both young and healthy and tracked ovulation effectively.

Confused1975 · 28/12/2020 10:56

Yes first cycle with #2. Thought it would take longer as I’m mid 30s and was 5/6 months for #1

Ladybird345 · 28/12/2020 10:57

Yeah with my second baby. It was literally our first try so came as a shock to happen so fast 😊

Emz1995 · 28/12/2020 10:59

Yes I conceived first cycle after having my implant removed! I got a period straight away and then a positive OPK 14 days later, we DTD and then I got a positive pregnancy test 11 days later, I’m now 8 weeks pregnant!

Smileandtheworldsmileswithyou · 28/12/2020 11:01

With my second baby I did! Happened straight away and honestly I think we had sex once that month. Was a bit of a shock!

BikeRunSki · 28/12/2020 11:02

Yes, twice.

severussnaperus · 28/12/2020 11:02

Yes both babies - first at 23, second at 30 🙂

notacooldad · 28/12/2020 11:03

Yes both times.

TTCnum1 · 28/12/2020 11:07

Ahh it's so great to hear that it does happen!

Yes, both times. 1st mid thirties and 2nd (currently pregnant with) late thirties.

xyzandabc · 28/12/2020 11:13

Yes 3 times. Never tracked cycles or anything though.

CinnamonTeaForMe · 28/12/2020 11:16

Yeah my first was the first cycle. Second took over a year! Third was second cycle but sadly miscarried. Now ttc again and on the second cycle. It really does seem to be a total lottery! Good luck!

Mybobowler · 28/12/2020 11:26

We conceived our DD in the first month, we weren't really trying so it was a bit of a shock! Currently in the first cycle of ttc our second, but I'm not sure we'll be so lucky again!

Aiguablava · 28/12/2020 11:46

I concived twice first cycle. We weren't teacking any ovulation dates or anything though we took a more relaxed approach and stopped using contraception and were just having sex when we felt like it not because it was the right time to concieve.

FeloniusGru · 28/12/2020 14:31

Yes, both times. And I have PCOS so was very unexpected! Used OPKs to identify fertile days due to long and irregular cycles but also had sex every other day throughout the rest of the cycle.

BagFull · 28/12/2020 14:34

Yes - twins too :)

igotosleep · 28/12/2020 14:34

Yes, using ovulation sticks.
I’ve fell pregnant very quickly & easily with my three children. Early to late 20s which I guess is on my side - definitely not all doom & gloom but I don’t mention it much as I feel awful for those who have a hard time trying!

WalkingMeAway · 28/12/2020 15:20

Yes, for pregnancy 2 and 3

HelgaK · 28/12/2020 15:22

Yes, I did.

TheWashingMachine · 28/12/2020 15:28

Mid thirties, first time after ruptured ectopic = DC1, first time when we decided to try for DC2 when DC1 was six months old.

firstimemamma · 28/12/2020 15:29

Yes I did. Age 27.

CC2021 · 28/12/2020 15:31

Not me (sorry to jump in, it popped up in active) but my sister did. First cycle both times - in her late twenties and early thirties. I try to remind myself of that every time I feel negative about ttc next year.
