Can OPK predict pregnancy

Happy Christmas everyone! Been ttc a while now this month I am 2 days late on my cycle getting cm that is quiet thick and gummy like, which I've read can be a sign of implantation! I realized I was out of pregnancy tests but tried and ovulation prediction test and it's showing positive, has anyone had a positive opk and turned out to he pregnant? Been getting a lot of cramping, upset stomach and increse cm, but oddly last time I was expecting my breasts got big immediately and this time they haven't..reading into every sign 🙈

They can but I would test with a pregnancy test as soon as u can. Bring two days late is a great sign x

Yes I have, started my usual ovulation tracking bit earlier, fully expecting the faintest line instead it was glaring positive and no way could be at that point in my cycle. Did a pregnancy test straight after and it was positive. Obviously I wouldn't fully rely on it as pregnancy test and would get a proper test, but I had no clue this was true about opks until recently.

Yes absolutely the OPK will be positive if you are pregnant. Has happened to me many times. 👍

I’m pregnant and this happened to me. Used an IC OPK and got two solid pink lines, then got a static smiley on Clearblue opk, which was weird considering that I’d already peaked that cycle. Tested with a pregnancy test and got a particularly strong positive for 10 DPO! I’d get yourself a teat ASAP! X

Thanks everyone, I did read that you can also get a surge just before period is due that can cause a positive opk and I woke up this morning with cramps and nausea like I would before my period. Now I'm actually scared to take a test in case of more disappointment.

This is my positive opk..have family on the way over so have to wait a while before I can get out and also I'm being very overly dramatic because I'm nervous it's another disappointment month..especially when I read you can get positive opk just before period as you can get an lh surge just before it's on the way

Didn't get to shop yesterday and feel like I'm actually putting it off cuz I'm nervous, woke up today with light cramping and my breasts are a bit bigger which is normal near period time but I also have these tiny little bumps around the areola and they're definitely a bit swollen and darker..4 days late but my periods aren't always the most regular I use my calendar to calculate the average cycle!
