Severe nausea before period?

I'm CD27/11DPO and today I feel SO SICK. I've had to really concentrate to not retch today, of all days. I didn't have any Christmas dinner.
My boobs are so and I have period type cramps (usually come on CD28) could it just be the start of my period? I did a test on Tuesday which was negative. I've been taking seven seas trying for a baby I wonder if they're going to make me have a heavier bleed? I've never felt this sick before a period before.

It might be nausea related to something completely different. I was sick last month due to something I had eaten, can be a bug/virus as well. I’d suggest to do a test if you don’t get your period when it’s due

This was me yesterday! Cd27/11dpo. Had to go back to bed as I thought I was going to throw up and massive headache. Boobs were sore too.
AF due today so tentatively waiting! Took a test but not sure...

I felt really sick all day Christmas Day and yesterday I was a bit nauseous to smells etc and had bad period cramps last night so thought I was coming on, as I went to Morrison's Boxing Day morning to get a test which was negative. The cramps have eased and I don't feel as sick but I still haven't come on! Very strange xx

Nausea is caused by an increase In progesterone which is normal before getting your period (as well as during pregnancy)

That was what I thought it was probably due to my period being imminent, I thought I would've come on before now though. I think it's more likely to be my period that pregnancy though as I didn't even get a faint line whatsoever on a test yesterday x
