@Mol234 took one this morning and BFN. Very likely just getting my hopes up. I'm really not good at waiting, so just getting v impatient waiting for something to actually happen!

@Robyn101 keep DTD!! definitely looks promising that something is finally happening for you!

CD18 here- really late ovulation this cycle as I’m still just on high readings on OPK. I’m worried that I’ll have a really short LP - can I do anything to lengthen it?!

@abi555 I know exactly how you feel with the impatience. I'm exactly the same, I'm only CD38 since stopping the pill but every little twinge or cramp I start thinking AF is coming. I've finally bitten the bullet and ordered some OPK's and FRER tests to keep me occupied.

@Robyn101 thanks. I don't think it's that unusual to get peaks for a few days. I tend to get 3 days of peaks but it can go down to high and up to peak again. I usually ovulate a day after my highest peak so I know to just keep testing.

@Flowers222 sorry about the cp but welcome! I agree with you that getting pregnant is definitely a positive so fingers crossed it sticks soon.

@Robyn101 eek sounds like you’re definitely about to ovulate! Exciting.

@Sperr I don’t think late ovulation necessarily means short lp. I ovulated earlier this cycle and then my period just came earlier. It’s very frustrating though. Last cycle I had a 12 day lp which I was delighted about but then this cycle I had an 8 day one so I don’t know. I’ve heard b vitamins, vitamin c and Agnus castus can all lengthen it b it who knows if any of it actually works.

Sorry to the ladies waiting around for AF. Must be very frustrating! Fingers crossed you get it soon or even better, a BFP!

Not a lot going on here. I’m cd 7. I’m having a long, annoying period. Not very heavy but just a bit there everyday. I wish it would hurry up and leave or do something more. I’m starting cycle 9 ttc. I think every cycle gets a bit more frustrating and harder not to worry that somethings wrong but I do know it can of course just take longer for some people so fingers crossed we all have a positive start to 2021!

@Robyn101 those OPK readings sound really positive, fingers crossed for you!

@abi555 well if it’s a BFN then hopefully AF is on its way at least. I guess it’s just a waiting game now which is never fun!

@Sperr I also read about Angus castus lengthening the LP but not sure, haven’t tried it myself!

@Flowers222 that’s a good way of looking at it ☺️ Hopefully you’ll get your BFP soon!

I agree @Cams50, fingers crossed for a positive start to 2021 for everyone!

I think I’m just going to continue doing OPKs twice a day and will hopefully catch my peak at some point!

@sperr a long Follicular phase doesn't mean a short LP, but if you are getting short LP of less than 10 days then I can highly recommend taking a B COMPLEX vitamin after ovulation. It extended my LP from 8 days to 14 xx

Eurgh shitty day today, was on the way to take the dog for a nice walk and a car hit mine, at speed at the rear passenger side, poor doggo was in the back! I managed to get my car home but its not really drivable 😞 I’m feeling rather achy as I and OH were thrown around abit! 2020 just had to put the cherry on the cake!

@Cams50 @Mol234 @Kay00 I’ve become such a worrier this month! I’ve never had an issue with my LP in previous cycles so this time I’m just panicking from my delayed ovulation! I might just start taking Vitamin C because I have some already and then if it’s an actual problem I’ll get the B complex. I’ve been BDing every other day so far so it’s more than I thought it would be this month 😂

Thanks @Flowers222 & @MissC07 we’re all ok, just achy at the moment, dog seems ok but you can never really tell with animals so will keep an eye on him! So frustrating he said he wasn’t looking as he was on his phone! My car ended up sideways across the road, we are so lucky we had our seatbelts on

@Kay00 hope you are keeping warm! When ours was out, our electric blanket was a saviour!! Think you might be right about a second surge as I also saw a teeny bit of EWCM

@Sperr I had high OPKs for a couple of days from CD20 and was worried about short luteal phase (previous cycles were 24 days long) but currently holding out strong at CD29. I've been taking vitamin B6 after ovulation, don't know if that has helped at all.

@ChinChilly hope you take some rest and that you and your dog feel okay! Its a scary thing!

@Kay00 my back & neck is already fairly sore and I’m struggling with turning my head to the side I think I’ll be on the phone to my GP tomorrow 🙄

@abi555 @Cams50 @Moocher90 thanks ladies, pretty shook up but ok, Chinese on order and a glass of something strong should help! My car is pretty new, only had it since August so that’s annoying too

@chinchilly oh no, sounds like whiplash. Make sure you contact your doctor first thing and try to rest up tonight x hopefully your insurance will sort out your car?

Serious question, I’ve had an argument with OH today but today is our DTD day and I have high OPK- do I still do it even though I’m in a mood?!?

@Robyn101 that's great news that OH is easily on board! I had a couple of days of high too , just had to keep testing until it dropped. Are you checking CM too? I had 4 days of EWCM up to my peak and a bit the day after ovulation, so it co incided!

@Moocher90 my temp didn't rise instantly. It was 35.9 day of, 36.2 dpo1 and 36.4 dpo2.

@Mol234 thanks for your help. Guess I'm a bit obsessive, not being TTC for long but been waiting a couple of years for DH to be ready haha! Temperature drop could be ovulation soon? Mine dropped to 35.9 for 2 days then to 36.2 day after ovulation then 36.4 the following day. Fingers crossed the Drs will be of help!

Today I'm 7dpo, not really sure when my period is due as my cycles have been 24 days since being off the pill and I'm currently on CD29. Anyone got any ideas when to test? I've been having symptoms but it's most likely PMS or that I had a migraine yesterday haha!

@Kay00 I will do, my friend wanted me to go to A&E but I didn’t want to risk it with COVID going on! I’ve contacted my insurance she said they are swamped at the moment so thay are only recovering vehicles that are stranded at the road side, I got mine home but the rear wheel has taken quite a knock so I’m not going to risk driving it incase the suspension is damaged. She took the initial details just got to wait for a call back

@Sperr thank you, I’m ok just glad it wasn’t any worse! With DTD sometimes you gotta push through for the greater good and then resume the mood after! 😂

As you are 7DPO now what temps are you getting? Are you getting a steady increase?! X

Yes I was just worried as my preovulation temp was 36.05 but there was a nice rise today at 36.23 I just hope it was not a fluke. My OPKs are stark white. Also had EWCM on CD8, 10 and 11. Yesterday had EWCM but had a tinged with a few dark blood spots but only once when wiping. Managed to BD 3 times during FW and done it again today this afternoon.
