@Kay00 I’m not sure the bbt time adjuster is that accurate tbh. Sometimes I wake up at 5am for example and take my temp, sleep til 8am and it’s pretty much the same. I still do adjust my temps but kinda take it with a pinch of salt! At least you’ve got BD in to cover bases and see what happens over the next few days - either a delayed temp rise or if you didn’t ovulate hopefully your body will have another go!

@FlyingGiraffe completely know what you mean about always feeling like you’re waiting. The past week has gone so slow for me!

@Flowers222 I’m terrible at looking up symptoms as well! It seems like pretty much anything can be an early pregnancy symptom! I was thinking of holding out to 11DPO too or even longer if I didn’t feel symptoms - but know I will be so so tempted to test by 10DPO!

@abi555 that’s super exciting! I’d massively recommend using the Femometer app for OPKs as it gives you a percentage reading which is helpful to show what’s high / a peak. Hopefully this is your peak though! Do you have EWCM too? I’d also suggest to keep testing over the next few days as some ladies have a few days of high readings before ovulating!

@Rmd123 It's so nice to have people to ask that are going through the same thing and want to help isn't it!

@abi555 I think it's usually darker than the control line to be the peak, but it sounds like it's positive. Mine can vary in a few hours so maybe try testing again tonight after holding for 3-4 hours if you can? It could be that you have a gradual surge though and it'll be an even stronger line tomorrow!

@FlyingGiraffe I know so annoying I’ve only 6000 on the fit bit and it should be about 13000 😂 more annoyed about it then I should be tbh 😂

@abi555 it may be too early to tell as im not ovulating yet but I don’t really get any CM after my period and just abit of EWCM before ovulation but for £2.50 for 30 capsules its worth a try!

@abi555 my OPKs only ever get slightly darker than the control line I think it is the same colour or darker than the control line, definitely test again in a few hours 🤞🏼

@FlyingGiraffe have EWCM and ovulation niggles fingers crossed!

@abi555 thanks. You are right it is still very early and I know it's silly to get worked up about it!

As for OPKs if it's about the same I would still take that as a positive, particularly if it's a lot darker than you've seen before. How much you have been drinking can affect it too. Sometimes mine are a lot darker yet some months it doesn't get quite as dark as the control but bbt shows I have ovulated. I'd keep testing to see if it does get darker and get bding! 😁

@Mol234 @kay00 the bbt adjuster I use tends to be spot on tbh - to the point where I could guess what it's going to say cause I know what my temp should've been like and the adjuster says exactly that.

Kay I'd stick with the adjusted one for now and see what happens but I don't think you've ovulated just yet :(

@ChinChilly @FlyingGiraffe I take 2000mg and yup I reckon it's had an immediate effect on you!

6DPO today - did the overlay on FF and this is the first cycle in a while where I haven't had a big dip at 6DPO. Obv means nothing but I always get a bit excited when the temps are a bit out of the ordinary.

Thanks everyone, have done another OPK tonight and it is now definitely the same colour as the control. Not darker, but I'm taking that as a positive and have informed OH to get ready for DTD tonight..... he looked at me like I'm ridiculous when I tried to explain the SMEG plan and was all like 'why can't we just relax and see what happens'. I told him to shush and get with the plan haha!

@abi555 I am always confused by OPKs too. What type are you using?

@Rmd123 hi 👋 I'm in a similar boat to you re CB OPKs. V confused! It looks as though you're CD17 if you count the 6 Jan period, so could defs be plausible that you're peak fertility now.

@Kay00 bless you with your long cycle! It's so frustrating isn't it? Any high OPK results? The dotted crosshairs really throw you off. Same has happened to me this cycle.

Currently CD12. Ovulated CD12 last month. I've started using the purple CB opks this cycle too. Been using FMU according to instructions, but kept annoyingly getting empty circles from CD10. I read somewhere you should use in the afternoon like other OPKs to detect LH surge though... Did a standard OPK last night and it was v high but not quite peak - DTD. This morning my elevated temps gave me dotted crosshairs and predicted ovulation on CD9 (which has made me think I'm having early onset menopause all afternoon after researching my seemingly short follicular phase). I did drink, and woke up late, the last few days so might have thrown off stats.

Randomly did a CB OPK this evening as having ovulation pains, and got a static smiley which suggests I'm now peak, despite elevated temps. Grr. So confused. Anyone else experienced peak OPKs after temp rises? Chart attached. In the wise words of @Juno231 when in doubt, get on it!! Also, my RHR was crazy this morning 🤪

@Nellieee hi! I've read that OPKS are more accurate than temperature which makes sense.. if it's static smiley get DTD! It means we'll be on the same TWW 😁

@juno231 ... haha, im hoping I haven't ovulated otherwise my post ovulation temps would be abysmally low.

Your chart is looking damn good BTW!!

I had my darkest evening opk this evening at 27% but im down to my last two OPKs now 😬... so might keep them for when/if I get EWCM or a SHOW

Plus it means I can temp and get some proper base stats that I haven’t made up on FF 😂 my temp has been identical for CD1 & CD2 so I like this consistency

@Rmd123 Really?! I read the opposite 🤦‍♀️ so much conflicting information on the internet. Will just have to cover all bases 🤪 how long have you been off the pill for? TWW safety in numbers!

@ChinChilly v weird chart. Not sure what to make of it all.

Had another slight temp rise this morning (but also accidentally left the heating on - oops). RHR sky high again. I'm wondering now if I've ovulated from both sides as a few days ago I had O pain in the left like last month, and yesterday it was super strong in the right. I've always wanted twins so... imagine!!

Hi @Robyn101 - I see you've had AF. Good you're feeling ok about it. It can be a bit of a mind f* when she comes. And I'm with you. Love the bbt stats! Hopefully third time is a charm 🙃

@Nellieee it's so confusing 😂 if I slept a funny way my temp would change that's why I haven't used it to check yet but if nothing happens this month I'll try next month.

Off the pill since 17 December! How about you?

@Nellieee most definitely! But with her absence being 137days I think I’m just more relieved that my body’s kicked into gear on it’s own naturally. Reassures me that I now don’t need to go to the doctor to try and get it moving

@Juno231 chart is looking so good, fingers crossed for you! How are you feeling?

9DPO for me - another temp rise this morning. Natural cycles actually discarded it because it was too high but there’s no reason for it to be discarded - I slept normally. So I’m a bit confused about that and am ignoring natural cycles! Chart attached.

It definitely doesn’t feel like AF is on her way yet, which is good - I’m hoping for at least a 10 day LP!

@Mol234 you chart is looking really good. I would be getting exciting about that rise this morning fingers, crossed it's good new for you!

10dpo for me and I had a very slight temp rise, my chart is still very steady. Hoping it's a good sign 🤞

@Mol234 That's odd it discarded it - I opened the chart expecting something well over 37 based on that but it's a perfectly normal temp! Your chart looks really good, hoping that's your BFP.

@Flowers222 and your chart!! How have you not tested yet lol, I'd be all over that if my chart looked that good.

@Rmd123 I'd say most ladies here would say BBT>OPKs considering how many on here were getting LH peaks without ovulating.

@Nellieee I'm afraid that's a wait and see chart for now, sorry it's so confusing!

7 DPO today, slight dip in temp, slight uptick in RHR. Nothing to read into for now!

@Flowers222 that is a beautiful chart, 🤞🏼 for you! I agree with @Juno231 how have you not tested yet?! I’m not sure whether to hold out testing tomorrow or wait til weds. I think I’ll wait and see how I feel later on today!

And thanks @Juno231 I’m trying not to get my hopes up but it’s really hard not to isn’t it?!
