CD13 for me. Not a lot happening.

DTD last night. Sorry if TMI, but with DTD so often I’m finding reading my CM difficult! Don’t know if it’s me or him 😂 seems more watery today but can’t be sure!

Low OPK today though. Was actually 26% which femometer reads as high but still seems very faint and I always tend to get a bit of a line.

@Juno231 🤞 for you! Maybe the post O BD was the ‘lucky bang’ you need!

@Robyn101 sorry to hear about your wedding 😞 must be such a stressful time! I know we’re back in lockdown which feels like a step back, but I think we will be coming out of it in a better position than we have been in a long time. So you might be okay 🙂 I just hope they get on with these vaccines ASAP!

@Sperr my RHR drops slowly the day or 2 before AF then literally falls off a cliff once it starts! Im interessted how apple does the RHR compared to fitbit.

@Elsie2021 I totally get what you mean about the CM sometimes I dunno it its EWCM or left over jizz 😂😂😂

Hi everyone. Did anyone every experience a an extra withdrawal bleed when they finished their pill? I finished mine on the 17th December and had my usually 4 day withdrawal bleed.

Now I'm 4 DPO after using OPKS to track it and I'm bleeding? Not as heavy as a period but not light enough to be implantation and too early. Does anyone know what this is? Thanks!

@Rd123 hm how did you confirm ovulation? We've had a few ladies on here with really wonky cycles post pill - including getting AF as early as 5-6 DPO I think. Might just be a weird one like that!

@Juno231 I was using CB OPKS which were flashing smiley faces for 2 and a half days and I had ovulation pains. After suspected ovulation I did another OPK and it was low fertility which I though had meant I ovulated. I had copper coil in for 5 years and only had it taken out in July then went on the pill in august so I was used to the ovulation and period pains I'd get every month. I also had EWCM which stopped 2 days ago.

It could be AF but even on the pill and coil my boobs would be so sore I'd have to wear a bra to bed and they would grow almost a cup size! I always get heavy periods/withdrawal bleeds which is leading me to think this isn't AF.

I have 3 apps tracking my period and ovulation so maybe I'll edit one to say I got my period today and try OPKS in 2 weeks?

@Juno231 if ovulation did occur and this is a small withdrawal bleed from the pill is there a chance of getting pregnant this month? So hard to keep track!!

@Elsie2021 I know exactly what you mean 😂 I'm only CD6 today so there's noway it can be EWCM but I still was staring at it for a good minute 😂

@Rmd123 I only had my usual withdrawal bleed after stopping the pill. Then a really light AF 40 days later.

@Elsie2021 I find the same when trying to figure out CM after DTD. I still have no idea how to tell the difference 🙈

@Robyn101 I'm sorry you are feeling stressed. I've known a few people have had to cancel and move weddings and I can't even imagine how awful it must be. I really hope it works out.

5DPO for me and not a lot going on, temps are still steady. Had an interview today, I've been really stressed about it, I hate interviews, enough I kept considering cancelling it. But so glad I did it and it is over. Now I want a takeaway tonight as a reward, sod the diet 😆

Lots of very impressive new year health kicks happening! I’ve walked a bit but seriously need to ramp it up. We’ve still got chocolate and stuff left from Christmas which I can’t stop eating but once that’s done I’m going to be good. I hope lol.

CD 16 here but still no ovulation but my AF was really long this cycle so think that’s delayed everything. Hopefully I ovulate in the next few days 🤞🏻

@Robyn101 I understand the stress! We postponed our big wedding last August and got married with just a few guests but we’re meant to have 100 this summer but not sure if that will happen so will probably end up postponing the ‘big wedding’ again. They were very understanding last night but not sure if they’ll let us again but obviously we don’t want another small wedding so we need it to be the full amount to go ahead and make it financially make sense etc etc which is also why we started ttc when all this started last year as waiting for the wedding is just so uncertain. Hope you get it sorted x

@Elsie2021 I also know what you mean 😂 convinced I’ve EWCM but I think it’s just remnants of the night before 😂😂

@ChinChilly I want to try these magic pills now 😂 I take pregnacare so I’m sure they’re not really very different and won’t magically make me pregnant but they might save me some money at least!

@Rd123 think I just had the one withdrawal bleed but I’ve certainly had short LPs but then that doesn’t sound like what you’re having if yours are normally heavy. Hmm maybe just some pill hormone working itself out of your body or something. Hope your cycles settle soon x

Hi all!

So what I thought was a light bleed is starting to look more like a full blown period (heavier, red, clots)

I had a withdrawal bleed after I finished my pill on the 17th of dec so I'm assuming this is maybe a real period?

I don't know if I should start today as CD1 because I ovulated 4 days ago? If anyone can help I'd really appreciate it xx

Hey @Rmd123 you might not have actually ovulated when you think you did. Unless you get a peak OPK and temp shift it’s hard to confirm it. I’ve had multiple LH surges but weren’t actually peaks so I wasn’t ovulating. I’d see how the next few days of your AF goes abs then hopefully you ovulate in the next couple of weeks.

@Robyn101 that sounds really stressful, hope you don’t end up losing too much money. So many people have been affected this year with weddings being cancelled it’s such a nightmare. I got engaged in Nov but I’m kinda put off booking anything yet.

Not a lot going on here, I’m 4DPO (have had a good temp rise past few days so pretty sure I ovulated - chart attached). Had sore boobs the past few days but seems to have subsided a bit now!

@Rmd123 I’ve just had a 19 day cycle and I thought I was around 4 DPO and started to bleed, it was AF.

I’ve only been off contraception since end of august but all my cycles so far have been irregular. From coming off the pill I waited 6 weeks for withdrawal bleed then another 6 weeks a period, 6 days later a period then 11days later a period, and then a 19 day cycle before another period which is now CD5 for me today.

I hope my body is now starting to regulate and I will start having normal cycles.

@Moocher90 glad to hear I'm not alone! Although hopefully your cycles regulate.

Are you ovulating through each cycle? I'm wondering how if this is my first 'real' AF since the pill will I ovulate around day 14? I've always had very regular periods cycles being 28-30 days only since I went on the pill in august and came off in December that's it's acting up now.

ClearBlue app is telling me to do OPK on Sunday which I think is early but I may as well do one a day from then on to keep an eye on things x

I’m not sure if I’m ovulating tbh. However I have had my LH and FSH tested by GP and all is in normal range. I think it’s just my body regulating. Prior to pill as I was only on mini pill from March to August I was on the injection for 14 years. I have never had a real break from contraception until now.

@Rmd123 I’d probably log it as CD1 and see how you go! It’s all so confusing to be honest

@Moocher90 this is my first real break from contraception since i was about 16, 29 now (30 in August 😭)

My thermometer was meant to arrive today but Amazon changed it to tomorrow, honestly anything I order on prime NEVER comes the next day 🙄

@ChinChilly I’m 31 in September 😭😭

@Moocher90 I feel like COVID stole the last year of my 20’s so I may just claim I’m 29 in August 😂 poor OH was 30 last march a few days after lockdown all his family’s flights were cancelled and it looks like COVID is about to have his 31st too 😬

@Juno231 I've found my periods have changed quite a bit since stopping the pill in May, but I have been pretty regular at every 28ish days so I'm thankful for that. The first four months or so it was super light, to the point I only really needed a liner each day. But then I've had the last two months where I've had loads of light or spotting days, followed by one heavy day, and then one day of lighter. I find it so hard to know when to mark as CD1 because of this. My temperature plummeted today just below the cover-line so I feel happy about that in a weird way!

@Moocher90 @ChinChilly I think I was on the pill for about 20 years without a break! I loved the convenience of knowing when AF was coming, and taking packets back to back to skip a month! If I'd known I'd be just as regular without I'd have probably stopped a lot sooner! (that and if I'd known how long it would take to get my body back to some sort of 'normal')

I ordered the 'magic' pills today. They were out of stock in so many places - which made me want them even more! Haha!

@FlyingGiraffe I came off the pill 2 & 1/2 years ago but went back on it for 2 years because things changed...I wish I’d never gone back on it 🙄

It’s horrible right @sperr @cams50 I know the venues and suppliers must be under stress too but wow they don’t make it easy to plan at all

The venue have been a bit snotty last time it had to be postponed and now tbh I just want a full on cancellation but I know I’m risking losing money so need to tread carefully and see if there’s anyway of getting money from the insurance.

I’m honestly thinking about running off to Vegas as soon as permitted and just having a fun wedding just me and him (I know it’s not everyone’s idea of romantic but I like the idea of it)

@mol234 if you’ve got your heart set on a venue I’d have a look, you’re going to be competing with all the 2020 brides and newly engaged to get the right dates. Otherwise I’d completely hold off and enjoy the engagement buzz - congratulations btw!

@ChinChilly thank you! I’m also 30 in July so we’re close in age - I feel the same about having the last year of my 20s robbed! I also wanted to do loads before TTC and those plans were obviously scuppered! Your poor OH - hopefully you can do something nice for his 31st...

I was actually on the coil a while back, came off for 6 months and used natural cycles but kept getting scared about being pregnant accidentally (I laugh at myself about that now haha) so went on the pill. When I came off the coil my periods came back straight away but not with the pill... the hormones in it have obviously affected me a lot more than the coil!

Yes good point actually @Robyn101 - we’ve found one venue we love, we did have a viewing booked in for a couple of weeks time just to take a look but it’s been moved to feb. I think we’ll wait til 2023 regardless now as I’d like to have a baby before and 2023 seems long enough away for it to happen beforehand 😅 and thank you!!

@Robyn101 I think a Vegas wedding sounds so fun! Especially after all this covid stuff - let your hair down and get married just you and your fiancé 🥰 I hope the venue are understanding. I’ve been trying to not think about ours. Too stressful and too much uncertainty.

@Mol234 and @ChinChilly I’m 30 in April so I totally get you ladies! Last year of the 20s gone so thought I’d have a baby before I’m 30 instead. That’s not happening 😅 I’ve also been on and off the pill since I was 18. I had no idea how long it would take for my body to sort itself out.

A temp drop... I think my body was trolling me 😑😑😑 Its a shame because I have really very distinct ovulation pain that lasted hours and was quite sore, but I suppose I never caught my peak. So... I'll keep testing and DTD every other day 🙃
