Spotting followed by bfp

I started spotting at 10dpo so thought AF was coming but then the spotting stopped so I took a test today at 12dpo & got a faint positive (not with fmu).
I had a chemical pregnancy 2 months ago so am worried the spotting may be another chemical.
Anyone else had spotting before their bfp?

Sounds like implantation bleeding, tentative congrats

Thank you, I’m really hoping so but I’ve still got some pink spotting today and did another frer which is still quite faint at 13dpo so not sure what is going to happen.

@Annannanna can I please ask how you got on? I'm in the same situation, 11dpo and spotting and cramps started today. AF isn't due for another 4 days 😭

Annannanna · 11/01/2021 20:42

Sorry, it turned out that I had another chemical pregnancy on Christmas DaySad

Hopefully it will be different for you, have you tested?

@Annannanna oh bless you I'm so sorry 😢. Are you trying again? X

I did a cheapy test this morning, there was a faint line as attached but it disappeared after about 10 mins! Pretty certain it was an evap. The spotting and cramping started this afternoon, very very light spotting though 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yes I'm trying again, just starting the tww.

I can see a line, was there any colour to it? I would do a FRER if you can get one x

Oh good I'm glad your trying again 😊. Fingers crossed for you xx

Not really no, looked more grey. I'm going to buy and FR tomorrow I think, unless I wake up to AF tomorrow! Xx
