I decided this month not to do ovulation tests as I thought I knew my cycle well enough now. However, I started having ewcm on the morning of CD 17 which is 2 days earlier than my ovulation normally. I then thought I would test to see and it was negative. I then tested on cd 18 and 19, still negative.
My question is - if you do the clear blue test on the day you actually ovulated would it be negative because the Lh surge has by that point decreased so much it can’t be detected? Therefore cd 15 and 16 would be lh surge and cd 17 ovulation.
