Hi ladies

I’ve been tracking my cycles for exactly 12 months, mine are always 29/30 days and period comes to the exact day (same as FLO tracker app). I am now 5 days late, no sign of AF showing any time soon, no cramps/spotting. However I have been feeling slightly nauseous and tired this last week.

I tested this morning and there wasn’t even a faint line, has anyone else had this and then tested positive at a later date? I have never ever been even 1 day late before so this seems odd to me. Could I have ovulated late? I BD every other day this month :)

You certainly could have ovulated late, some people won't get a bfp for a while after missed period for this reason :) what tests are you using? Most people on here seem to like the first response early result ones :)

@VNttc thanks for replying to this! I am now 7 days late and still no sign of period showing up but got another negative this morning!

I’ve used two first response tests now, the one I did this morning has a slight evap line, but no colour to it at all! When I have used ovulation tests before I’ve found i do ovulate around CD 20/21 and then ALWAYS start my period at CD 29/30 like clockwork so feeling slightly confused haha!

Could this mean I’m still testing too early if I ovulate CD 20/21? Smile

Very strange! It might be worth contacting your GP to see if they can do a blood test? Or just hold out and keep testing every 48 hours (it takes that long for the hcg to double) until AF shows or a positive!
