Cycles post Merina

So had my Merina out 1st September ahead of TTC via IVF. I had my first bleed a week after its removal, second one three weeks after that and third 4.5 weeks after that one. All bleeds were brown and light.

Now it's been 7 weeks and nothing :( Need my cycles to start after the 27th to start IVF but worried there's something wrong. How long did it take most people's cycles to settle.

I am getting frustrated as was always very regular (though heavy) before the coil and had nothing during it

Have you abstained completely from sex, or could you be pregnant? I was pregnant straight way after Mirena removal.
Yes, yes, I know, I'm working with a whole handful of assumptions about you here!

My DH has a v v low sperm count (hence skipping straight to IVF) so chances of me being pregnant are very low but I've taken about five tests anyway and all negative.

I didn't get a positive test until nearly 7 weeks with my first baby, got it all crossed for you! I can happen, my H was supposed to be infertile after cancer treatment, but he definitely wasn't, I have a cranky 3 year old to prove it!

If I was pregnant I'd be nearly 8 weeks now and still negative so seriously doubt it

My cycles went straight back to 28days post Mirena. My period was lighter for the first cycle and then back to ‘normal’ cycle 2. Did you have differing cycles prior to having the Mirena in?

@winterbabyof89 I was on the pill for ten years before the coil but before than and during the pill I was like clockwork.

@Bells3032 I hope your cycles settle and arrives in time for your IVF start date.
When I googled it before having mine out some women did report having erratic cycles after removal - it seems to be a mixed bag in how removal will affect your cycle which is frustrating, especially when TTC!

@WinterBabyof89 Thank you.
