Possibility of false positive

This is my first time posting. I’m on day 42 of my cycle (not usual for me, 35 days is probably my max) have just take a clear blue rapid test. I dipped it in and I don’t think I held it long enough as the control line didn’t show so I dipped it again. I don’t think your supposed to do this though.
So I got a very clear positive result but is there a chance this is because I haven’t used the test properly? I’m going to test again tomorrow with a digital test to be sure but wanted options on it?

Pretty much no chance if it's a clear positive. A positive is a positive.

Tentative congratulations!

I really don't think a re dip would effect the positive outcome. I would say your pregnant.

Yep! I reckon you're preggers! Big time!
