Trying to conceive our 4th at 44 y.o, youngest 7, oldest 17.

The odds are stacked against me - age, morbidly obese, hypothyroidism.

However saying that, my thyroid levels are fine on levothyroxine, TSH low etc. And I was this weight when we conceived the other 3 no problem. Recent bloods confirmed not peri-menopausal and I have extremely regular 28 day cycle - presume that's a good sign?!

But time is ticking and this is kind of a last minute decision to try for a final one so I want to give it a go. Our family circumstances meant that we're actually in the best position for a baby than we ever have been, other than the factors already mentioned!

So what do people use to monitor their fertility - apps, any particular thermometer, ovulation tests etc? Any recommended supplements from anyone similar age/circumstances.

Please don't judge our decision to TTC under sub-optimal circumstances. I have been getting private thyroid tests because I know the doctor will laugh me back out the door.

Thanks xxx
