How to know I've ovulated?

Hi everyone,

I used clearblue advanced this month and got my peak today, along with plenty EWCM. I had planned on temping but bought what has turned out to be a faulty thermometer that has been giving me wild results.

Is there any other way of knowing whether I've ovulated? Should I carry on with IC OPK strips and wait for the line to get faint? Thanks!

@birchtree4 the only way you can confirm it yourself is via temping I'm afraid. Opks only tell you your body tried to, not that it actually has and some ladies may get multiple LH surges before they finally ovulate.

Thing is though, if you have a fairly regular cycle and ovulate roughly around the same time... Then just do another couple opks over the next few days just to confirm the drop in LH and safely assume it did happen when it said it would!

@birchtree4 regular PMS symptoms are also a good indication of ovulation due to the rise in progesterone.

Hi guys,

Thank you for getting back to me. I will carry on with OPK's and see if they go down. I got very pesky progesterone symptoms last month so pretty sure I will ovulate, just don't want to stop DTD too early.
I have less EW-type mucus today so perhaps that's my body telling me we have done our job and can relax now haha.
