No period, no BFP

Weve been ttc for 6 months+. We had a miscarriage in the summer and nothing since. The short story is im 3 days late,no bfp but also testing neg. Not a hint of a line. This is unusual for me to be late as period pretty regular.

The long story, is that we have not actively been trying this month as we are getting married in 9 months time. We used condoms up until the date i believed we ovulated. We have then been "unprotected" from around 4 days post ovulation thinking the chances are low AND we would be over the moon to have a bfp.

Am i ridiculous for getting my hopes up?

With dd2 I was nearly 2 weeks late for af before I had my bfp.
All my other tests had showed up neg but then just before the 2 week mark, I decided to do a frer and there was a blazing line!

Hi, can I ask what ended up happening with this? I am late by 5 days with all bfns and I have no signs of anything. I'm really starting to worry as cycle is normally completely normal. Also don't think I really ovulated this month as was away for work and could not try or test. Very confused!!

Hello, I wasnt pregnant but actually got pregnant the next month, now 23 weeks!from when i did have my bfp id recommend early morning. Sending you best wishes x

Aw congratulations! Glad to hear! My last 2 cycles I don't think I've ovulated as no lh surges so won't happen for me but thanks for the advice!

No problem. If it helps in my successful cycle i was supposed to ov on 27th dec but didnt ovulate until 5th jan! So know how frustrating unpredictable cycles are and glad i kept testing xxx
