TTC but no success, when should I speak to a doctor?

Hi I was just wondering if anyone is in a similar situation or has been in the past.

We have been TTC for 10 months and I have regular periods, I was previously on the implant.

However I have chronic kidney disease and have had a transplant 3 yrs ago. Every month with no success is really leading me to believe that there is something wrong after all the trauma my body has been through after being poorly.

Has anyone else with health problems been to a doctor about their fertility after trying for nearly a year? Would they tell me to keep trying or take my health into consideration?? I just want to know if everything is ok. My mother has pcos.

Tia x

Have you spoken to the transplant unit about TTC in case they need to make any adjustment to your medication prior to conception?

I know in our area they advise to try for 12 months before making any referrals to the hospital but, in normal times, they would be happy to do bloods after 10 months to check for ovulation. It would definitely be worth a chat to the Dr but I know not all surgeries are yet getting back to normal service and some are still only seeing patients for urgent issues so it depends on your practice tbh.

Hiya, yea they've given me the go ahead just told me to let them know ASAP if I got a bfp.

After what you said I spoke to gp earlier and he said nope they won't see me until feb/March time because I haven't been TTC exactly 12 months yet :(

Honestly it's so disappointing, they didn't even bother to ring me back he just sent me a text about it. Was hoping I would be able to speak to a female doctor but never mind. Guess I'll have to wait! Thanks for replying to me xx
