@lamby12 ah great thank you for this! I have no idea how this stuff works

WildRose91 · 15/12/2020 15:33

Hello, am I able to jump on?
Only joined mumsnet today as was getting fed up of not being able to talk to anyone.
Everyone around me seems to be falling pregnant first time trying and I'm in month 7 now.
Sick of the 'when are you and your husband having a baby then?! Must be your turn soon!'.... yes weve been trying!! Angry
I know its not their fault as they have no idea as I've not mentioned it but people should know better to not say these things.

Omggggg @lamby12 - I've just seen in the other thread your test...definitely positive!! Can understand why you're nervous (that probably won't change - I'm now almost 23 weeks and still have days where I feel anxious), just enjoy the happy feeling and I really hope that this is it for you 🤞🏻 Keep us posted when you do the FRER. I'm rubbish at checking on here atm, but will be keeping an eye open x

lamby12 · 16/12/2020 12:53

@Tink2019 congrats to you, I am so pleased it's working out for you. Hope you're doing well.
We went into town this morning as it's our day off and got FRER and CBD. Did the FR when we got back, not fmu but I hadn't been for a few hours and it was a definite positive (will post a pic) probably fainter than the Morrisons ones which has made me a bit nervous but I suppose it's a different brand. The Morrisons ones were a bit darker pink on the control too. But all 3 tests so far have been definite positives. I will use the other FR tomorrow to make sure it's as dark and try the CBD on Friday AM as that will be almost 2 weeks since Ov. X

Eek yes I think it's another positive. Feeling super nervously excited/cautious. Hoping with everything that this is it. X

So I am back on the conception threads but only to let you guys know, in case somebody else is going through this again.

I had my BFPs loads of them and I even started with pregnancy symptoms really strongly straight away, morning sickness and tiredness. I felt so pregnant if that's even possible and me and OH started to feel like this is it and start talking about when the due date would be, we'd need a new car etc. I had a scan scheduled for 4th Jan as it would be 6.5 weeks.

Yesterday I started spotting and it just increased throughout the day. More and more bright red blood and clotting, and terrible pain. I am obviously having an early miscarriage, there is no getting away from it even though initially I was holding hope and reading stories about ladies who have bleeding and go onto be ok. Not now though, it's already heavier than a period.

I really don't know how I'm going to get over this. I haven't moved from bed since yesterday morning and can't speak without dissolving into more sobbing. My eyes are sore and swollen from crying so much and I feel like I just can't go back to not being pregnant again, even though there's no choice. It all just felt so right and like it was going to happen this time.

Maybe in a few months I'll join back on the TTC threads but right now I can't imagine going back there. I still struggling to process I have to go back to that headspace from being pregnant a couple of days ago.

Oh @lamby12 I'm so so sorry. I've been there myself last May, also had loads of strong positives and over a week of feeling pregnant and then the pain started, then eventually bleeding. My heart breaks for you, it's the worst feeling in the world. Please rest and look after yourself. Don't think about ttc or any of it just yet. Just because it's early doesn't mean it's not significant and your body has been through a lot so please stay in bed for a few days. Sending love and strength xx
