So I had been trying for a long time with my exh and was never able to conceive. Stopped using contraception in June/July with my current partner and nothing yet. Started to resign myself to the idea that it just might never happen naturally for me and then last week, around Wednesday I started to get painful breasts. This continued over the weekend and then on Saturday I had a tiny bit of blood when I went to the toilet and felt a tight sensation in the lefthand side of my lower abdomen. I know it sounds crazy but i had this thought, 'I might actually be pregnant'. I know it's far too soon to actually know though but I just had this feeling which I've never had before. After a day the tightness in my abdomen went away and while the sore breasts continued, today they feel far less sore, maybe just at mildly tender, but definitely not like before. I'm due my period next Monday (generally pretty regular). Am i just kidding myself here? I've never been a symptom spotter before. The signs I saw really raised my hopes but now with my boobs not feeling as sore I'm not so sure.
