Question about period

Sorry to seem naive I just need some advice!

TTC, stuck on our 2nd month cycle. Waiting to go into 3rd. AF is nearly 2 weeks late but I’ve had all my symptoms this week and since last night have been spotting? But not a lot just when I wipe basically

Will this mean AF is on the way? I just want to get it over with now. This is the most strung out, worst AF I’ve had! It’s irritating

I usually just wipe blood and AF comes a few hours after but I’ve been wiping bits since last night with no AF yet. Cramps are here as well

When I first started TTC, my second month was exactly the same and I since realised it was the Pregnacare I started taking which was the only thing I had changed, that was possibly causing a longer period and spotting. Don't ask me why! Stopped taking it and just normal folic acid and after that everything went back to normal!

@Busybee93 okay wow this is exactly my issue!

I started taking it in September early on. September my period was delayed 10 days. We meant to start trying then but couldn’t as my period didn’t end until October! I got a normal period that month and this is delayed again and now with spotting which I never have

I stopped taking pregnacare over a week ago (after a friend of mine said it done that to her too and delayed her TTC process) and hopefully it’s coming out of my system. Just taking straight folic acid now, and vit D but that is because I am slightly deficient.

Did you find your cycles were better and ‘back to normal’ after you stopped taking the pregnacare?

Hopefully this is the last delayed period I have. Really annoying now especially when we just want to stay positive and try again this month!

Crazy how recommended vitamins have seemingly delayed the process! Made me feel completely not like myself I stopped getting ewcm and usual ovulation symptoms too
