So normally I get a distinct temp rise after ovulation but this time I had a slow rise so Not sure when i ovulated. I usually get late bit of ewcm 1-2 days before ovulation but had bloods for progesterone on CD20 which was high enough to indicate I'd already ovulated....really confused. If anyone can shed some light that'd be great as trying to book bloods for cd1-5 of next cycle for clinic appt. Thanks in advance!

Your CD20 bloods make little sense tbh! Spontaneously I'd say you ovulated on CD21 per the temps - and could maybe concede a CD18 ovulation if taking into account a slow rise. Not sure a blood test on CD20 would have shown up positive for ovulation though even then!

Have you been taking your temp at the same time every day?

Have you tried inputting your data into fertility friend? I find it can be more helpful in pinpointing ovulation.

I use kindara and its same time everyday I take my temps, been doing them since March and not had this before, have been able to pinpoint no problem and precit period as have 15 day luteal phase. Only got bloods done as asked for by fertility and happened to have bloods anyway that day (cd20) and its only an issue as they want bloods at a specific time. the slow rise has baffled me its a first and its useless using OPK as they always give me a faint second line no matter what time of cycle. might try inputting into fertility firend. thanks

Have you shared your chart on Kindara? I usually share mine on there every month and the ladies are super helpful in pinpointing ovulation. If your 21 day bloods are saying you ovulated then perhaps you did around CD14/15 especially with your temp dip on CD13 you seem to have had a slow rise from then on ☺️

@Unicornsparklez I've tried previously but didn't get any replies, maybe I was doing it wrong? X

@kerrym87 maybe. What's your username on there? I can follow your chart so that I can support you on there in future ☺️

I just wanted to say that I've read before BBT is only accurate up to a point and can be up to three days out and that might explain why it doesn't match up to your blood test.
But I do also agree it might have been CD13 😊 although it doesn't follow the typical 'three temps higher than the previous six' rule, it would make more sense for your blood test and you did have a big increase the next day.
Frustrating for you though if they've always been clear in the past!

@Unicornsparklez it's Krm87. Yeah I'm do frustrated the one time I think I can time some bloods for first clinic appt and I chat predict with certainty like normal ovulation. The bloods I had just confused the issue further I think. It's cos it's Xmas week coming up it'll be harder to get done if it shows up earlier Than thought
