If you're filling a pad that quickly I'd phone 111 for some advice.

BeautifulSofa · 11/12/2020 21:48

I lose that and more every month, I've had 3 kids and am 40, am told it's normal - I need to change tampon and pad every hour for first two days of period.

BeautifulSofa · 11/12/2020 21:49

Clots aren't pretty but they are definitely normal, sorry

Bellabelloo · 11/12/2020 21:57

I bled SO much after mine. I flooded through pads and jeans. I did end up going to the doctor and was given some tablets to stop the flow.

Iwonder777 · 11/12/2020 22:01

Let is know how you get on love xx

Plussizejumpsuit · 11/12/2020 22:01

I have clots this size all the time and Ave adenomyosis. But I wouldn't have thought these were particularly big. But maybe I've just normalised it?!

However the amount you're changing your pad it a lot. Are you soaking it in that time or is it just getting a bit more bloody? As clots are often not absorbed well in my experience.

BriocheBuns · 11/12/2020 23:02

I have much Biggs clots almost like slime during my period every time. As another poster said that’s my normal. I don’t see yours as a threat but I’m no medical expert x

BriocheBuns · 11/12/2020 23:02

I mean bigger!

Chel93 · 12/12/2020 00:25

Thank you every one for your replys I spoke to a gp and he said because ive had a hycosy and both tubes are blocked it could off irritated me and caused a heavier period this month but if it carrys on as heavy as I am I need to go to ane so will see how I go thank you x

How are you today? X

whatever1980 · 12/12/2020 20:01

Not wanting to alarm you but keep monitoring the blood loss and go to a&e if carries on. I had a mmc (I know it's different) but collapsed with blood loss and spent a week in hospital. I had blood clots continuously and had to just sit on the loo or in bath for hours as was just soaking through pads and clothes but I didn't know this was serious and didn't want to create a fuss.

TheDaydreamBelievers · 12/12/2020 20:05

I recently had surgery for a MMC and was told that if you go through a pad quicker than an hour you should always call 111 or go to a and e

Chel93 · 12/12/2020 22:03

@squirrelnutkins1 @whatever1980 @thedaydreambelievers
I'm still bleeding quite heavy not as bad as yesterday but still clots I rang the doctor last night and they said it can sometimes be normal after a hycosy to just rest and take it easy but gets worse or carrys on to go to ane. So just going to see how I go through the night and in the morning and still as bad ill go the hospital, hoping it'll slow down now am on day 4 of my period 🤞 thank you all so much for your help secretly hoping its all the rubbish whats blocking my tubes coming out but I doubt it 😩
