Been testing every day since last Friday and so infuriated I keep getting negatives as I have loads of ewcm past few days! But today have done 3 (first two were dipped together as thought one hadn't reacted!) around 12pm. Second was about 3.30pm.

They look close to positive but not quite? But only showed up this colour within 30 minutes rather than 10. Is it ok if it shows up within 30mimutes? Should I expect a positive very soon based on these?

Sorry I can't help but I'm in a similar situation, they look similar to mine yesterday but today there is barely a second line there at all. My lines also showed up after the 10 mins. It's so frustrating, I thought it would happen in the next few days after yesterday but don't know what's going on now. I've got a bbt but I haven't figured out how to use it yet 🥴

Moominmiss · 10/12/2020 16:44

I found when I get my nearly positives it can take a little while for the result to show clearly, but when I get my peak I see the test line firming quite dark as soon as I dip the test.

I’ve attached photos of my nearly positive then the peak the day after.

*forming not firming lol

Alicia870 · 10/12/2020 16:48

@dramallama7 very frustrating! Could you have missed it overnight possibly? Surely it's a good sign the test line is so dark even if not fully positive.

@Moominmiss thank you!! Hopefully a peak comes soon then for me! Just never sure if it's ok for it to show within 30 mins rather than 10! So confusing

@Alicia870 very possibly! Annoying as DP is working away and doesn't get home until tomorrow so I'm worried that's going to be too late, will DTD anyway just in case. I'm just trying to get my head round it all!

Alicia870 · 10/12/2020 17:08

@dramallama7 oh no frustrating! Definitely do it anyway especially as you haven't had the peak showing it's just not possible to say you will have missed it!

Looks like you're using the one step tests?
For those it says the full development time is 10 mins but anything after 30 mins can be consider invalid and shouldn't be used as a measurement.

With easy@home tests it's 5 minutes development time and I think anything after 20 mins is invalid

Alicia870 · 10/12/2020 18:01

@Emmgrem yes it's one step. So does that mean then that anything up to 30 minutes can be taken as valid?
