Here we go ladies! The last thread was a lucky one so let's keep up the success on this one!

@DrS44 did you do another opk this evening? My temp tends to rise a little in the follicular phase before it dips again for ovulation. I find it hard to read charts that aren't FF. I have been up the walls too with work, as the school closures have caused a lot of issues for parents, so I am trying to do my own job, as well to tend to tasks that others aren't able to due to them having to work from home. I never get headaches, so it's most definitely a sign I am exhausted.

@Dex1521 I presume that you are taking your temp at the exact same time every morning?

@Greeneyedfairy yep 7am on the dot as I get up the same time everyday

@Dex1521 try not to worry about it, as I bet it will go back up again in the morning. Do you wake during the night, or did you have a more disturbed sleep?

@Greeneyedfairy not that I know off but could have easily and maybe just not remembered it. When I woke today though I was dying for a wee which is uncommon. I'm not too worried anymore though what will be will be. Trying to stay positive and calm this cycle 😂

Can everyone also appreciate that I've made it to 5dpo and not tested. This is when I started testing last cycle don't even have the urge to test

@Dex1521 I get the urge around 10dpo 😂 it's a long TWW isn't it. I am going to do an opk tomorrow, cd10, just to see what's happening and take it from there. The last few months I have been ovulating on either cd14/cd15.

I am currently making a list so I can ring in an order to my local health shop tomorrow. Has anyone tried the Biocare methyl pregnancy multinutrient? A friend of mine who is a nutritionist told me to start using it as it has folate which absorbs better than folic acid.

@Dex1521 your luteal temps are generally nice and high, so that's a great sign that the body is nice and warm, and that the progesterone levels are really good.

Yep so you were all right. Temp way back up again this morning. 6dpo and still feeling absolutely fine no symptoms at all except for a blocked nose which I seem to get everytime I'm in the tww so nothing uncommon.

Grrr anyone else's Mumsnet go down for maintenance last night. I will post last nights replies and then go back and do today's 😂

@CardioQueen @PowerOfFlowers absolutely! I had a friend who was born in the toilet. Her mum was 17 and didn't know she was pregnant until she gave birth. I mean, how is that possible?! I thought it only happened in real life stories in magazines 😂

@Dex1521 I'm proud of you for keeping chill and not testing early. I'm excited to see your morning temp update! Also with temps I read that if you sleep with mouth open you should try to lay still with mouth closed for 5 mins when you wake up and then take the temp 👌

@Bells20 Thanks! I know right, everything you read says middle of the day and my highest have always been nearly midnight so perhaps I ovulated in my sleep even 😆🤷🏻‍♀️

@Greeneyedfairy Since you said you noticed that I've been trying to analyse it but can't work it out haha. I guess temp was dipped on cd17 and started going up when I got my positive OPK, but really it doesn't make sense for it to rise until after the OPKs. So I'm expecting a big rise again tomorrow 🤷🏻‍♀️ I hope, otherwise I'll be confused!
Hope you have a relaxing weekend, definitely sounds like a stressful time for you right now. Big respect for the job you're doing!

So another temp rise and I'm in the TWW! ✨

But the crosshairs are dotted, as like you said @Greeneyedfairy it doesn't make sense that I ovulated when I had the temp dip if my peak OPKs came after that? 🤨 I pretty sure I ovulated yesterday as I still had ovulation pain and none this morning, it tallies with my EWCM too 🤷🏻‍♀️ So I don't think I'm as many DPO as FF says I am.. any thoughts?

@AMS19 ya I was just going off last cycles temps and in general they just seemed so low 🤣 so I presumed they hadn't risen! I think we could say postgraduates for you! You've got the UG now you're doing the PG 😜👏🏻

@Emmgrem the fact you only have the dashes mean FF doesn't think you have definitely ovulated then anyway. You need solid lines for confirmed ovulation. So reckon it will change it with another day or two of increased temps!

@Emmgrem @Dex1521 great to see temp rises! You guys are now gonna over take me! I used to be like 6 days or so ahead of yer cycle!

@Bells20 I did another couple of tests! One was kind of broken and went all weird! And another was almost as dark as the control line! But then I did one later again and it was back to very low so I don't think anything actually happened! Temps still low this morning too- I'll do an OPK again soon!

Ooh look at them temp rises @Emmgrem and @Dex1521 😆 I'm actually really excited for both of you! My last tww I didn't have any symptoms apart from sore boobs and a very weird dizziness for two hours a few days before my bfp. The tww before that I had every symptom going 😂 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 for you two!

@PowerOfFlowers yes defo will do! Will DTD today and in the morning! I'm gonna take lots of vit C and zinc to help my chances of keeping my progesterone levels high! It's so strange how my symptoms of ovulation aren't coinciding with peaks!

@PowerOfFlowers Oo that's good to hear this is the first cycle I've had 0 symptoms and no urge to test! I'm 6dpo today so I think I'll either test at 10 or 12 dpo or maybe both 😂. My boobs feel a bit sore/sensitive but only if I prod and poke at them which is probably normal when you poke yourself in the boob 😂

Got a Q for the pregnant ladies here - did any of you use pre seed when you got your BFP? I'm preparing myself for the worst for this cycle and so if it doesn't happen I'll get some for next cycle if it worked for you

Hey @Dex1521 I didn't. But I have seen good things about it, probably worth a go? I think I would have tried it if BFP hadn't happened.

@GreenApplesYo yeah we might give it a go anyways. Can't hurt to try. Have this weird depressing mood today about my OH and his fertility and I don't know why just feel because it's older at 40 that he is a lower sperm count or the quality not as good. Don't know why as I've never doubted it to be him the problem only myself.

We were thinking of getting one of those at home sperm kits put apprehensive go do so Incase it gives a reading of yes he does have a low count when he might not actually or it might say no he doesn't have a low count when he actually might. It's only been 3 months so too early to consult a doctor as well.

Don't know what's wrong with me today just feel so low

I bought it but then I watched a video by Dr Aimee on YouTube and it freaked me right out 😭 xxx

@Dex1521 sorry you're not feeling great. TTC is stressful, so much obsessing and over-thinking over something you don't really have that much control over. It's bound to make you feel down sometimes. Can't help that we're all cooped up at the moment in lockdown. Your chart is looking great this month though 🙂 is there something you can do as a treat, curl up with a book or favourite film maybe?

I don't think male fertility does a nose dive for men the same way it does for women after 35. Chances are his sperm is OK?Would be interesting to test, although I've read those home kits aren't brilliant, they only test the number of sperm, but not if they are the right shape, are good swimmers etc like a lab test shows you. And they tend to give false negative/low count readings? We were only looking at cheap tests though, my DP had a look at them before we started TTC, but decided not to bother in the end.
