Here we go ladies! The last thread was a lucky one so let's keep up the success on this one!

@PowerOfFlowers just googled yolk sack, apparently it gets turned into the intestines and umbilical cord eventually. Didn't know that. I'm feeling good, definitely more energetic. I was so sleepy for the first 9 wks or so! I think there's a big psychological difference being past the 12wk mark as well, I'm more relaxed now and looking forward to the next stages, like being able to feel the baby move, without also having to be 'cautious' and remind myself things might not work out. Think I felt like I needed to be careful not to get too excited until I'd had the 12wk scan, obviously there are still risks now, but they are so much smaller it's easier to just let go and get properly excited.

@Dex1521 My DH takes Zinc, Selenium, Vit C and Vit D. He can't tolerate multivitamins and prefers to take them separately. Yay!! Your opk looks really really great! Have you checked since!! Get DTD! We actually did every other day last cycle and we made sure to dtd the morning of my first temp rise as well. So by looking back at my chart we DTD the day of my +opk as well. Work commitments prevented any extra fun, but it what we did worked!! I actually didn't think we would get a BFP, as we were both so busy and tired.

@GreenApplesYo everything in moderation I guess! It's hard to give up things, but cutting back isn't as hard.The running is great.

@Emmgrem I am glad that I am not the only one having issues...I was beginning to think I was tech challenged!! I think it depends on the lighting too doesn't it, so I have decided to use my own two eyes

Does anyone else look ahead and see what their EDD would be if they get pregnant!?!..guess what I am currently checking...

@Greeneyedfairy literally was looking earlier at my EDD. We really want this cycle to work for us as we have always loved the idea of of having an October baby just something about that month we love 😂

Dtd this morning actually but I went for a bath this morning as it was so cold in our house and just having this feeling it’s all been “washed out” dunno if that can happen but will do it again tomorrow. Did another test around 3pm wee wasn’t very strong as I’d had a pint of juice and just couldn’t hold it but the result was 0.7 but the line was still as dark as the C line xx

@Dex1521 mine is the 14th of October 2021👣... and, yes I agree!! I love October!! I have always felt there is something about October and the change in seasons🍁🍂🎃 🍂🍁that's great about your OPK!! ✨

@PowerOfFlowers that is so lovely to see! Our due dates are really close, mine is estimated at 15th august at the moment. So clear on the scan picture too! Mine was a blurry little blob haha mind you I was only 6 weeks at the time. I've been thinking of having another scan mostly because I'm totally neurotic at the moment 😂 but I have my booking appointment tomorrow so I'm hoping that will help with reassurance. So pleased to see everything's looking good for you!

@jessi60 good to hear from you! I'm definitely the same, have no symptoms other than sore boobs and feeling a bit more tired than usual but even that seems to be easing off. I know I should feel lucky not to feel so poorly like many do but you can't help but worry can you.

The weekend flew on by... Totally getting the Sunday evening feels at the moment. Cd 5 tomorrow, so I must stock up on ovulation tests. I did an online order of FRERs from Boots, as my local store was ransacked and had nothing left. They are so expensive that I thought it was a good idea to get them when they were in offer.

It was my sore boobs on 10 dpo that drew my attention to the possibility that I was pregnant. The veins were prominent, and my nipples felt very hard.

@Greeneyedfairy no way! Me and the OH are from Northern Ireland. Right up on the north coast but moved to England for work and majority of my family is English and I think @DrS44 is Irish too and lives in England xx

Thanks @jessi60 ☺️ I know I really just need to shy away from the testing but I have sooooo many IC in the house 😂 so just doing them daily, not fussing as much about the strength of the line just making sure it's still bfp. Did a cb digital yesterday which was 1-2weeks so will do the other next week! 1 frer left which I'll keep for Thursday which should be my 5 weeks mark going by last at!
I think it's deffo worth booking the private early scans for the reassurance! I've already enquired about one for weeks 7🙈🙈 hope the weather gets better for you 🤞
@Dex1521 amazing about your OPK's!! 🙌 keep dtd as many times as possible!! I read that when the man comes inside you, the end of the penis is so close to the cervix that lots of sperm will get in there, so it doesn't matter about all of the stuff that comes out!

So exciting we're due near the same time @Bells20 ☺️ Hope your booking app goes well for you tomorrow. I had mine on the phone on Friday and they'll do blood tests etc during my 12 week scan. I'm going for a flu jab tomorrow morning though. I don't blame you - its a long time to wait to 12 weeks isn't it. I went to The Baby Suite in Lewisham. Can't recommene them enough - they were amazing.
Yay thank you @Foxl2222 😀 No, it was an early reassurance scan at a private place and they dated me too. Can't believe you'll be 5 weeks on Thursday!! I defo recommend the early scans, if only for the peace of mind.

Just a question for the pg ladies that are in patient facing roles? Did you have a risk assessment at work? And what was the outcome? We're able to work on the ward until 28weeks, is that right?
Sorry for the million questions🙈 I work at a busy hospital where covid is rife and wondering when to tell my manager incase anything needs to change. Although feel like it's a little bit early! X

Sorry can't be of any use with temps @Dex1521 as I never did that! If your opk is lower today, then your peak was yesterday! I always counted the day after my peak as 1dpo🤷‍♀️ anyway, exciting that your now in the TWW!! Hope you have lots of distractions planned😂xx

@Dex1521 it does look like you've ovulated? Guess you won't know for a couple of days, that temp should stay up if you have? Will you still dtd today in case?

@Foxl2222 I know advice from the girls who work for the NHS will be more relevant, but think if you are worried it is best to tell your manager? It may seem early, but you don't want to be exposed to any risks that could be avoided at this stage? Or they might be able to do the risk assessment and reassure you that the risks are low.

Also, I hope things aren't too stressful for you and the other staff at your hospital! xx

@Dex1521 Today would be 1dpo - first day of your temp rise. Of course you won't get crosshairs on FF until your temps stay high for 3 days, but it's all looking really good! Have you DTD every other day?

@PowerOfFlowers That scan is unreal! Congrats! Look at that little yolk sack, it's amazing. You must be so relieved! Great to know the internal isn't too bad either

@DrS44 Oh no, what CD are you now? Still nothing on OPKs or temps?

I'm CD15 same as Dex, but if I have another 33 day cycle I'm not expecting my ovulation until the end of this week. Had nothing so far so just patiently waiting too. Temps are lower than they usually are for me post ov though which is good.

@GreenApplesYo @Emmgrem yeah I thought that too will see hopefully they stay up and I’ll get those cross hairs. We will be DTD again at lunch time as we both work from home so will use our lunch breaks for it 😂 we have DTD every other day since last Wednesday (CD10)

@Emmgrem Same scanning issue. But I noticed if the test line is too light, it is better to upload the picture through the album to make sure the app can recognize the line. Many factors could affect the reading, have to keep the condition consistent while shooting.

CD 22 and losing the will...

Is ovulation pain a thing? Has anyone experienced it before? As I’ve never had it before but think I do today. Got a dull ache on the inside of my left hip and when I stand up or sit down it is a sharp twinge then back to dull when I stop moving. Just wondering if anyone had experience with it before as I thought it was just the way I was laid in bed last night as I woke up with it. Hopefully it’s a good sign maybe a nice healthy egg being released 😂
