@Dex1521 thanks! I know it's so annoying - i just wanted it to happen earlier this cycle as my LPs have been so short I've not stood a chance!

🤣🤣 I know it's too funny! It was just that he took them off slowly and was like alright come on then if we have to 😅😅😅 so sexy 🤣 I'm gonna have to make a proper effort tonight - even though I'm so busy at work and can't be dealing with it 🙈🙄😅 xxxx

@GreenApplesYo thank you, I do feel much better today and much less anxious. It just comes and goes. I'm definitely hoping the 12 week scan helps! You're right about the vaccine, the guidance has changed and I could have it but because I personally don't have any other risk factors that would make me vulnerable to severe covid, the risks outweigh the benefits so I still won't have it. But think it's great that it's an option for people!

@DrS44 that really made me laugh, I defo did not find TTC to be a romantic experience 😂 but definitely had a lot of laughs in moments like that! Hoping for your peak soon unless it has happened already! Out of curiosity are you testing once or twice a day? If once it's possible you've missed it?

@DrS44 it’s not too late to start temping now if you wanted to do it just to see!! 😊 I’m so glad I kept temping, otherwise I would have assumed this cycle was nonovulatory, when it turns out it actually was! 😊👌🏼

I think it depends on everyone but I think most people have a pattern, so if your previous peaks were 12-24 hours this one should be the same? So I guess checking twice a day should cover you?
I hate that part tbh I nearly drove myself mad last cycle and then stopped doing them! 🤣

Hahaha poor OH! It actually is exhausting tho! 😂 just do it every 2nd day, apparently that’s enough to cover all basis! A nice day break in between then! 😂

Cd1 and I just had a CP,. I am upset, but I am determined to stay focused on becoming pregnant again, aka TTC#2. Focusing my energy now on getting a blazing positive FRER.

@Bells20 amm the last two days I've been testing twice a day! So maybe not missed it!

Just went to the loo and had loads of EWCM some light spotting again 😭😭 what is going on?! And this is my OPK! So confused. I can feel little pinches as if I am ovulating .... 🤷🏼‍♀️

Thank you @DrS44. I was shocked that it didn't proceed, as my chart was great and I even got a line on an IC. I have been off birth control for years, as it gave me low BP. We have been TTC since last July, so 6 cycles approximately.

@Greeneyedfairy that's so frustrating! Maybe it just wasn't a strong egg for you, next cycle will be better 💛🤞🏻💚

@positivitytree2020 ya I might give him a break tonight and try again tomorrow 🤣🤣 maybe I'm just not going to peak til tomorrow or the next day! It's just ive had all the signs since CD15/16 so I thought I would be earlier this month! I only peaked at CD19 last month and it was rapid! I'm actually so impatient 🤣 I'm just worried about my stupid LP 🙄 xxx here's my tests from this month and last month xxx

@Greeneyedfairy and sorry I only asked about BC as everyone here has just come off it recently! We have all only been trying a few months though, and there's been lots of success stories here! So it could be a lucky spot for you! Our "graduates" are full of knowledge too 😅 xx

@DrS44 thank you so much. How long have you been TTC? I hope you get a +opk soon! There is nothing worse than waiting and waiting, trying to do the maths bit, then questioning the calculations and readjusting them etc... Fx you catch the egg, you definitely get a A+ for effort

@Greeneyedfairy oh I'm a true pee on a stick addict (POAS) 🤣🤣 it really bothers me as I just want to see it rise a bit because I tend to drink lots of water etc and I don't when I'm testing 😅

I came off the pill in October so I've had 3 months of trying (but officially two as first one was just after withdrawal bleed so not a real cycle!) Each time I've had a really short luteal phase but I do seem to be ovulating! I'm hoping to take some tablets to extend it this time around ☺️

I know it's so frustrating waiting 🙄 did you say you're CD1 now? X

@DrS44 ya your OPKs still look low from your screenshot! I wouldn’t be worrying though sure you didn’t get a peak till CD19 last cycle? 😊 your peak looks very similar to mine, came out of nowhere and last approx 24 hours too! 👌🏼
I kept having symptoms this cycle from about CD17...and didn’t actually ovulate until somewhere between CD22-26! 😂

Defo start temping from tomorrow morning! 😊

@positivitytree2020 ya you're right it's just because I had it in my head it was going to be earlier 🤣 and I think symptoms started from CD15 so I was getting myself excited! Hopefully I see some progression tonight and in the morning and I'll temp too 🌟 Then I'm gonna down a load of tablets to lengthen my LP 🤣🤣 thanks for your help xxx

@DrS44 yeah, I try to do a pee hold when doing opks too. Wiggling a little by the time I get to the loo, but hey it's worth, it if it works!

Yes, Cd1 and it's only light at the moment. Just waiting for it to be over, so I can begin again.

@positivitytree2020 it's been like 7/8 days! So super short! What had yours been?! I haven't taken anything this side of the cycle but I just thought it can't hurt to take anything the other side?? Hardly make it shorter 🤷🏼‍♀️

@DrS44 mine was around 10/11 days, always got spotting around then before full AF. Ya maybe just taking them after ovulation would be better. I feel like mine stayed in my system for a good week after I stopped taking them! 😅 interested to see how you get on though let me know coz I wouldn’t mind trying again! 🤞🏼

Re luteal phase

Vitamin B6 is said to help. I also believe the body is just trying to readjust itself after being on BC.

I took strong dose of VitB6 as part of a B complex, it didn’t shorten my LP, have yet to see if it’s lengthened it! 😂
But it seriously delayed my ovulation! I didn’t know this before taking it, but when I researched it in the last week or so loads of people said it messed up their cycles and delayed their ovulation! 🤦🏼‍♀️
It works for some people tho so worth giving it a shot! 😃

Thanks @GreenApplesYo I think that's a good point about the emotional investment, my mum would be the same so I think I will hold off for a while. She text me this morning saying "I had a dream you were pregnant" 🙈🙈 I just responded with laughing emojis! Lol

I think the advice now is if you have underlying health issues, the risk of covid is likely worse than the risks in of the vaccine so you should get the vaccine even if pregnant. If fully healthy then advice is not to get it. They have update the advice on TTC though, that you can get it. It's scary, I'll be intrigued to see what is said at the risk assessment as there's not a lot I could do at home or off the ward 🤷‍♀️

Booked GP appointment for 18th Jan! By my calculation I would be 5+4 then (I think) - I count from last period right? Can't really do anything between now and then can I?

So I had my scan again today. The last scan I there was just a gestational sac and yolk sac and measured 5 weeks (no heartbeat or embryo) so I went back this morning. And it’s grown, now an embryo and has a heart bearing. Measuring 6 weeks 1. Although it should of been 7 weeks 1 day. But the lady said I shouldn’t get too hung up on dates because it’s so hard to date things with it being that small. Even with 6 weeks 1 day it was only measuring 5.5mm which is still teeny tiny so she said you can see how it’s hard to be so exact. Which is why you normally get dated at your 12 week scan.

It’s crazy though because counting from
The first day of my last period I would be 9 weeks but the scan is only showing 6 weeks 1 day. But then again I only had one period between my implant removed and falling pregnant so I have no idea what my cycle length was going to be or if I was going to ovulate later.
She told me it’s nothing to worry about and it’s grown and progressed like it should. Still think it’s odd though 😂 xx

As far as I am aware the luteal phase pretty much stays the same length, but the follicular phase can vary on length month to month. Have you looked at your vitamin D levels, as I got mine checked last year and they were chronically low.
