Me and my partner have been trying to get pregnant for four months now. I have had regular periods up till now, however this month my period hasnt come and i am currently 5days late and no sign. I have taken a pregnancy test which comes back as negative.

I have also had an internal ultasound 3weeks ago which showed no endometriosis and no cysts on my ovaries and was told everything appears to be normal.
Has anyone got any ideas on why my period just hasnt come this month?

P. S. Im no more stressed than usual (if anything less) and there's no other changes!

Just feel as if its never going to happen and that im letting him down 😔

Hi OP, this can be really normal when TTC. I had a couple of cycles that came late or never came at all but negative tests.

Did you come off any birth control to start TTC? It can take a while for your body to catch up and late cycles is common with this.

Even though you don't feel you have been more stressed having TTC on your mind and the pressure we put on ourselves, even subconsciously, plays havoc with our bodies.

Give it another few days, if still a negative test and late periods are unusual for you give the GP a phone to help put your mind at ease
