Did anyone eventually get a BFP after negatives? Story below

Currently have AF which is 10/11 days late. No sign of period

Took a test last week and was BFN. This is our 2nd cycle trying and the 2nd that is delayed. It’s so frustrating as a late period gets my hopes up then (if it is the same as last time) it just ends up being late and arrives!

Has anyone ever been late for a little while then got a late BFP? Don’t want to get my hopes up and I’ll try my best not to! But just been feeling nauseous and exhausted and I’m thinking is there a chance?

So yes, has anyone got any stories when you were dead set it was BFN but ended up that you were pregnant after all!

If you're 10/11 days late, take another test and that will tell you definitively. I normally have 30-32 day cycles but the cycle before i conceived it was 50 days for no conceivable reason. I did a final test when I was 7 days late and knew when that was negative that no matter what happened, I wasn't pregnant. At 10 days late, if you're pregnant, ANY test will detect it. And if you're not, at least you can try to come to terms with it and look forward to AF turning up so you can start trying again.

This is my second pregnancy and both times I got a BFP 5/6 days before my period was due. If I'd got a negative after my period was late, even by a day or two, I'd know for sure I wasn't pregnant. Every woman is different though, but I don't want to give you false hope - sadly it's very unlikely that you are.

I think even though I’m looking for someone to say “yes tested 14dpo negative and it was positive when AF was so many days late” it won’t happen!

Probably just need to come to terms with it and hope that AF arrives soon so we can get on with trying this month

My AF was 2 weeks late last month. In that time I looked at tonnes of old posts about late bfp and loads of bbt charts and to be honest the majority of women ovulated late and went on to get their AF late.
There was the odd woman who did get a late bfp so fingers crossed for you!
