@MrsB2019x made mine anxiety worse too 😂 it’s only in hindsight I can see that they all seemed super calm, & not at all surprised they saw things were okay.

Mine is at half 12. 😬

Though we did feel a kick tonight! I’ve only felt flutters which may or may not have been movement the last couple of weeks. Tonight I felt a right nudge, told oh, he put his hand on my stomach and 30 seconds later it happened again which he felt too! It was so weird!

I still can’t quite believe it. I’ve been on a ttc journey for 12 years. “Luckily” despite trying for 8 years with an ex, going through all the medical help, I didn’t fall pregnant. 3 years ago I never would’ve thought I’d said that. It’s been the only thing I’ve ever wanted. I never thought I’d feel a baby move inside me. I’d given up on ever having a baby.

@MrsB2019x got everything crossed for you 🤞 I'm ok, I'm still really struggling this month and I'm not sure if it's the time of year or what! Due to ovulate on Christmas day so it's quickly approaching. I've not temped this month and only have a handful of OPKs left, undecided whether to prime any more or just go with the flow this month. I've taken my thermometer out a few times with the intention to start temping to make sure I've ovulated but I just really can't be bothered doing it 😴

Hope today goes well @MrsB2019x I think aches / pains are totally normal but also completely understandable why you would be concerned. It's great that your EPU is actually being helpful.

@whambam89 Honestly stopping doing OPKs and that was the best thing I did, i mean it was strange not knowing when I was ovulating but it really did take the pressure off. I’m so sorry you’re struggling 😭

So good news, baby has implanted in the right place! She could see a gestational sac and the beginnings of what she thinks is the yolk sac. Waiting to be reviewed by a nurse, she thinks they might cancel my scan on Wednesday now which is a shame cos I would have loved to see a heartbeat. Might book in a private one after Christmas instead!

She said she thought she could see a pocket of fluid (on the right on the top pic) but can’t rule out that’s a second gestational sac... 😳 she said because of the shape of it she is leaning more towards it being fluid which is fine but to prepare myself that it might be a second 😳 no twins run in either of our families so highly doubt it is but definitely made me shit myself!

Also lol @ my pathetic attempts to cover up my details with random stickers on an editing app 😂

By no means out of the woods yet cos 5 weeks is still so early but I’m relieved.

@MrsB2019x omg imagine if it's twins!! So happy for you that everything is in the right place though. You can relax a bit now and enjoy Christmas. I think I'd definitely be booking a private scan with the possibility of 2 being mentioned!

@MrsB2019x I think I'm too much of a control freak to give up the OPKs but saying that I had never used them before my ectopic so it might be an idea to just go cold turkey. I do think it's just the time of year that's making me feel particularly shit this month, I struggle with certain times of the year since losing my dad a few years ago, we always had lovely family Christmas's so I think it's partially down to that! I'll be ok ☺️

@whambam89 I am back in on 4th Jan for a repeat scan so hopefully it’s just a bit of fluid! Yeah Christmas can be really difficult. Hopefully you have a lovely day with OH and DD 😍 bet she’s so excited!

@MrsB2019x she's SO excited, it's lovely because it's the first year she's properly understood... Although she suddenly decided yesterday that she wants PJ masks headquarters from Santa... Not ideal when Santa has already bought all her presents and it's a £90 toy 😂

I spoke with the fertility clinic today to cancel our fertility checks appointment next week and they passed my records over to a doctor there to look at. A nurse rang me and said that due to the previous loss the doctors wants to prescribe me aspirin for the duration and progesterone pessaries up to 12 weeks. They have asked to scan me on Monday too!

I need to collect medication from them this afternoon to last me the weekend and then they will prescribe more on Monday. I have been saving all along to the gp that I think I need progesterone supplements
