@whambam89 Yeah they want a more detailed look on what that other black area is to confirm whether it is fluid as they suspect, or another sac, just so they know what they’re dealing with. She said if it wasn’t for that they would have discharged me today

Just collected the medication so I can start that this evening. Can't say I'm looking forward to the pessaries! I guess a progesterone supplement will set my symptoms through the roof will it?!

I had in my head that I was waiting another 4 weeks for a scan so to have one on Monday is great! Not sure I'll see much though as my period was only due yesterday

@ss123456 how many weeks will you be on Monday?

@whambam89 barely 4 and a half! I did question the date but apparently the doctor recommended Monday 🤷🏻‍♀️. Maybe it's just to check the womb environment for issues?

@ss123456 that does seem really early! Are they charging through the roof for it by any chance?

@whambam89 it's more than the other scan I've booked elsewhere for 8 weeks but not particularly through the roof. I think I'm going to stick with it though because I guess I will kind of then fall under that private clinic for treatment if I need it as they are prescribing the medication too. I guess at least if I have any issues they will talk me through them/see me etc 🤷🏻‍♀️. It's so hard as you put all your trust in the medical professionals blindly don't you, you never really know what to do for the best

I hope a scan that early won't freak you out because at 4 weeks you're unlikely to see anything at all. Do you think you'll be able to kind of accept that or will not seeing anything make you anxious?

@kirinm I did think that too! I have been looking up what to expect just so I am prepared. I don't really understand doing it this early but they are a reputable clinic so I guess they know what they are doing 🤷🏻‍♀️

Feeling a bit gutted that we didn't manage it this month. In my head I really wanted to be pregnant before Christmas. I've consequently spent an absolute shit load on cocktail ingredients so going to spend Christmas drinking those instead. Think AF is due Monday. BFN today and awful period pains.

@kirinm great minds think alike hahaha... All I wanted for Christmas was to not be able to drink so I'm making up for it by going crazy with the alcohol stash. We've just been for an impromptu lunch out, I ordered a latte then had to run over to the waitress and change it to a mulled wine because I thought why not!

Just try and enjoy Christmas and 2021 has to be the year we get our BFPs 🤞

Sounds like we are going into tier 4 here so I'm glad we are stocked up!

Morning ladies! How is everyone today?

@SS123456 I feel like tipsy/hungover this morning! Bit dizzyish and just feel so blah! On the up side I’m 5+4 today which is when I got treatment for my ectopic last time so I feel this is a good milestone to hit ☺️ How are you doing?

@MrsB2019x The little milestones feel so big after a loss don't they. As crappy as feeling awful is I guess it is a reassurance for you that your hormones are doing what they should be 😁🤞🏻. I hope you feel a bit better as the day progresses!

I'm good thanks. I had a couple of slightly stronger tummy cramps momentarily yesterday and almost put myself into a panic attack as I thought it was a mc again but they stopped very quickly thankfully! I feel so on edge this time around! The progesterone pessaries have made my already sore boobs even more sore but I guess that just means they are doing what they should. Apart from that though I am feeling good and very much making the most of eating as I'm sure sickness will kick in at some point. I have my scan tomorrow at 10.20am which I'm nervous about but I'm trying to be realistic to the fact that we are unlikely to see much, if anything, as I'll only be 4+4 weeks so super early. I mc'd last time at 5+0 so that is my little milestone at the moment 😊

@SS123456 I can imagine any twinge will send yourself into overdrive! Good luck for your scan tomorrow 😁 have they given any indication of what you might be able to see?

@MrsB2019x thank you! No they haven't told me a thing but I've set my expectations low. I'd be pleased if we get to see a sack but we'll see what happens. When will you be scanned again?

@SS123456 That’s the best way to go I think! Maybe google some photos for assurance?
They’re rescanning me on 4th Jan when I’ll be 7+5. It would have been earlier but all the bank holidays have made it awkward. Just keep telling myself that waiting longer will hopefully mean I will see more 🤞
