Metformin and a late period! Help!

Hi all
So I have been on metformin for about 5-6 months and have been trying to conceive within those 5-6 months. I have had regular spot on periods up until this month...
Im currently 4 days late and have been getting negative tests. Is it possible I could have just ovulated later and things are a little delayed? I am so confused. Anybody have this happen?

Hi @msallie96 I'm also on metformin and it has shortened my cycle from 36 to 32 which is great but I'm curious see what people say as I'm also TTC. Wishing you lots of baby dustSmile
