Can anyone help? What would be friend's CD1

My friend has just stopped the contraceptive to ttc her first. She took her last pill on 26th September and had a withdrawal bleed 29th September for 4 days. What she wants to know is was the first day of the withdrawal bleed her cd1 or would cd1 be when her next packet would have started? She wants to work out when her AF may be due this month. I am thinking it was 1st day of withdrawal bleed but does anyone else know.

CD 1 is the first day of bleeding.

Oh thanks I'll let her know and she can do her calculating - she should have a period this week then.

But do bear in mind that first cycle off the pill can vary in length. It normally takes a couple of months or so for cycles to settle.

The first day of bleeding is the day that should be counted as CD1.

BTW the pill leaves your system very quickly after taking the last tablet.
