Possibility of a BFP?

so AF was due Sunday - Sunday has well and truly been and gone and before Sunday I did a test (Thursday/Friday) which was negative BFN

Wondering where AF and mentioned to a friend who knows we’re trying. She went crazy saying I was pregnant, I told her it was a negative test and she told me her doctor said wait 3 weeks rather than 2 to test? And she tested when her period was 9 days late even tho she got a BFN on 14dpo, it was positive 9 days after AF was due

I don’t really want to get my hopes up. I’m assuming the lateness is a combination of general fluctuation and a hint of stress

But, has anyone got any positive stories ? Has this happened to you?

@Mooey89 yeah I’m sure that’s a given haha! Sorry if this post seems pointless I’m just really scared about seeing a BFN again and getting that sinking feeling

Surely if you don't test you'll get a sinking feeling if AF arrives late? So either way that will happen, its just a case of how long to wait.

I totally get that feeling my lovely. But if you’re pregnant it will be positive now, and at least you’ll know x good luck!

Thanks everyone. Think I might bite the bullet and do it. And just assume negative until told otherwise so the sinking feeling hopefully is diminished !

If your period is later then there is a possibility you are pregnant. There is also a possibility your period is just a bit late this month.

I'd take a test! If you were 14dpo on Sunday then a BFN at 12dpo on Friday doesn't mean you're not pregnant. I had a BFN at 12dpo and a faint positive at 13dpo
