Faint positive - not getting stronger

Any advice or similar stories?? We're TTC, been off the pill since summer, my cycle has been a bit off, so hard to know when I ovulated. In August I got faint positive but it went away, and quite a few weeks later I had a period. For past 10 days I've been feeling sick, particularly straught after food, sore boobs. I've used some cheap Internet pregnancy tests, and from the beginning of this week on Internet cheepies I'm getting a very faint positive, but it's not getting any darker in 4 days, although not disappeared like before either, plus I am definitely having nausea and it's not in my head, I'm sure of it. I just don't know what to think and I'm getting really stressed about it.

Try a digital test like clear blue rapid . They are a lot easier to read.

How long has it been since your last period?

I had a chemical before my sticky BFP and the faint positive faded when testing 2 days later. With my DS it didn't get any darker until about a week after I was due on and that was only on first response tests, on the Amazon cheapies it took ages to show anything more than a faint line.

It's been over 5 weeks, but my cycle is long and irregular, I've only had 3 periods since coming off the pill in July. So I don't really know where I am. I feel like it must not be false, and I did have faint positive on a clear blue as well. But I just feel like it should be getting darker so I'm worried its going to go away. I guess there's nothing I can do but wait and see :(
