Am I too late to start temping?

I am currently CD4. AF about to finish her business! I have got an advanced clear blue ovulation prediction kit to help determine my fertile window this month.
If I start BBT tomorrow morning, will that still be enough of a baseline? I have never tracked it before.

I have only had one cycle after getting implant out and it lasted 32 days, if that helps.

I don't think it's too late at all. Your BBT will be low and you'll see it rise after O. I never measure whilst AF was around, it's my mornings off.

Thanks @purbal good to know! Do I need to buy a special thermometer? I have a standard digital thermometer (initially bought to do covid temping!!)?

It's fine to start now. You'll need a thermometer to 2 decimal places. Fertility friend is the simplest app to use. Good luck.

How do you both find it? Has it helped you learn your cycles quite well?

Yes it really helped me as I'd been relying on apps and was convinced I had a luteal phase defect but doing temping I found out I ovulate super early on cd10/11 so the apps had my fertile week wrong and my luteal phase was fine. The only thing I'd say is try not to analyse or compare your chart. I've been pregnant 4 times now (recurrent losses) and never had an implantation dip. Good luck! :) @Birchtree4

@Birchtree4 I didn't start temping until CD19 and managed to catch a late ovulation at CD35! Now in my TWW ❤️
