Welcome to the longest running funniest bus ride in history! Or so we like to think anyway...

We talk sex, tv, work, more sex, food, slimming, RHR, charts, spicing things up or down, crafting (a more recent addition for 🎄🎅🏻) and help each other out in any way possible. Oh and yeah Trying to make babies gets mentioned a bit too but more often than not our bodies just do what they want!

When I say a few of us have been around the TTC block I don’t mean 🍆I mean as a MN group, not just a bus, a mini sanctuary since March for some of through the highs and lows of making babies through 2020 ❤️🥰

How we roll on this bus...
⁃ No judgement & each to their own on your TTC journey
⁃ Sense of humour DEFINITELY required
⁃ A few of us like a sex toy a few don’t, there may be sex toys discussed! 🤪a few of our fellas have enjoyed this aspect
⁃ Support each other, ranting is allowed, saying you are down is encouraged & celebrating our happy days too 😘
⁃ We have fun
⁃ If you have a pet, it’s welcome aboard
⁃ Now mandatory picture of your 🎄tree when up or Xmas decorations / Xmas jumper or similar
⁃ Ditto Wreath - extra points awarded if wreath is homemade 🥰
⁃ NOTHING IS TOO MUCH INFORMATION

@Vil10 currently holds the 👑for filthiest/most embarrassing story, can you beat her??? Though @lucyrp recently spewed sambucca over her fingers so maybe that’s debatable

Story so far...

June 24 BFPs
July 11 BFPs
August 18 BFPs
Sep 4 BFPs
Oct 7 BFPs
Nov 7 BFPs

2 BFPs in Dec already and it’s the 1st 🥳

How many more 🤔

@lucyrp a relief he doesn't need to stay in, hope he gets better soon!

AHobbyaweek · 08/12/2020 06:45

@Minster2012 yes picked for a team and we start hearing today. Was sworn in and had to read out an oath which was a bit scary really.

@lucyrp glad he got help and didn't have to stay in.

No sign of AF this morning and so I POAS. Negative so now worried I'm going to start in the middle of court while I can't move. Maybe a pad in case will be needed.

Hopeful110 · 08/12/2020 07:17

Oh gosh! I have no idea what's going on with my temps :/ such a mess this cycle...I had a couple of days of 'wetness' but thats it... FF said I could ovulate anytime til Friday. So guess its a waiting game

@lucyrp christ no wonder men die earlier without us! Glad he's okay! Did they test him for covid as well?

@franklydear I love that talking to yourself at night is named after you now 😁

@DOB78 welcome back! I'm TTC #1 and am on cycle 12 :) I was the bus driver for a while but TTC has kicked my butt, and I bought a fixer upper, and work is crazy so I just didn't have time to do it justice. Luckily I was able to hand over the reins to fabulous @Minster2012

Sharp temp rise today (from 36.05 to 36.40) so def ovulated yesterday! Had no ovulation pain though so think it's my left ovary this time as I always get pain when it seems to be the one on the right. I wonder if that means anything though about the left side 🤔

lucyrp · 08/12/2020 07:45

@Franklydear well he's supposed to but of course because his asthma been okay hadn't been for his routine check up for god knows how long. I want to say something like 3 years .... men and the doctors is ridiculous ! He used to be off in the ambulance numerous time very often when he was younger but it has got better with age but still bad. Definitely with you on the work thing and he's a carpenter so all the dust etc doesn't help and his boss would most definitely say oh come on nothing wrong with you!

@Kirky658 @AHobbyaweek thanks girls, we are at home now I am supposed to be working today but unsure whether to go in or stay at home with him as he's useless at telling me how he really is and the lack of sleep won't be great in work. Also may have to go back in to hispital if it gets bad again. He's never been in and out that quick with an attack before it's normally 3 days with a drip! Which is why he was putting it off for so long.

@Juno231 no they didn't actually which I'm surprised about but apparently he didn't have a temp when they did his obs and no cough or anything but I'm sure they were resting on entry anyway. Who knows ! He wasn't happy he had to stay in there without me because normally I'm the talker for him with things like that 🤣 I went in to start with whilst he sat down and told the receptionist Everutning and she looked at me a bit weird as to why o was telling her everything ... umm hello he can't breathe let alone talk 🙄

lucyrp · 08/12/2020 07:46

Oh and apparently salbutamol raises your heart rate significant amounts ! Learn something new every day

Kirky658 · 08/12/2020 07:52

@lucyrp yes I believe so, as its a steroid I think? I remember being kept on a close eye because of the salbutamol as a teen.

Got to try and shower now without getting the thumb wet... Makes me wonder how I'd manage without a thumb even typing one handed Is difficult!

InkyPaper · 08/12/2020 08:33

@lucyrp oh that sounds like the worst kind of night! Hope your OH feels loads better soon. Maybe it may be worth calling into work - if not for him but for yourself. Trying to work on limited sleep is not going to be fun even without adding in a stoic OH who may need more help than he's letting on.

@AHobbyaweek yeah it sounds like it may be worth putting a pad on just for peace of mind if nothing else.

@Kirky658 your poor thumb! How is it feeling today?

@Juno231 yay for ovulation! I probably wouldn't read too much into which side the pain is on as the GP said you can get transferred pain

I'm utterly exhausted today and I have no excuse for it aside from a super long workday yesterday followed by having the meal plan and food shop. Didn't actually sit down until 9:30pm and I woke up feeling so tired I could easily go back to sleep now 😅 got another long work day ahead of me - long week actually. Got a tonne of work to do and very little time to do it in. Was hoping to DTD tonight but I'm so tired I think he'll have to do all the work 😂

How's everyone else doing today??

Kirky658 · 08/12/2020 08:42

@inkypaper it's actually better than I thought, struggling to type on laptop tho, wondering if it's worth a day off hehe! I'm also shattered if it's any consolation, just need time off now. 9 days to go x

Minster2012 · 08/12/2020 08:43

Morning ladies, a late check in apologies, @lucyrp you totally did the right thing & I hope OH is breathing a bit better, I know it's totally scary & he def take a few days off from breathing in the dust, sending lots of squeezes your way

@Kirky658 how was the shower? As someone who USED to be able to type with two hands but now is a single hander out of lack of practice I can sympathise! It's rubbish when something is taken out of action 😂

@Hopeful110 bit of moistness but not as an oyster eh?! No idea on the temps I'm afraid!

@DOB78 sorry if you've already said but how long have you been TTC now? I'm being a bit of a rubbish driver the past couple of days, must get back into the swing ladies I'm sorry

@AHobbyaweek oh no I'm so sorry for the BFN lovely that's bloody rubbish. Sending big hugs your way. I'd def go with a pad so you don't "worry" about unexpected moistness during crucial evidence bits 😛

Oh and ladies on the Christmas note, yesterday as I was shopping I had my first mulled cider from a little pop up stall. Whoop 🙌🏻🎄🎄Christmassy

OP posts:
Kirky658 · 08/12/2020 09:06

@minster2012 challenging shower but manageable! It's a nightmare typing one handed lol. Mulled wine sounds amazing, can't wait for my first baileys!!!!

paintfairy · 08/12/2020 09:10

@Franklydear I've finally cottoned on what the tablets were for. 🙄 I think my DH would definitely feel awkward telling me that.

@lucyrp bloody hell. Men. How stressful. But yes he definitely shouldn't put it off going if he's struggling!

@AHobbyaweek I'm laughing at @Minster2012s unexpected moistness concern. 🤣

AHobbyaweek · 08/12/2020 09:11

@Minster2012 and @paintfairy me too!! Shame it would not be the good sort of moistness!!

Franklydear · 08/12/2020 09:14

@lucyrp from experience, he'll be worst that he looks, DH also talks for me during attacks, I just won't make sense, but he's never been challenged, my work is a bit like his so my doctor just started to sign sick notes and I can always come back early if I want to, he needs to take this seriously
I wasn't tested in hospital for covid either

Franklydear · 08/12/2020 09:16

@paintfairy I don't know if to mention or leave it, at least he's sorted it

Clairey844 · 08/12/2020 09:21

Morning all, just catching up as ever 😂😂

@lucyrp glad he didn't have to stay in but not good how bad his asthma is. Did you take today off?

@Minster2012 did I read right that you've started the northisterone (soz about the spelling 😂) to bring on AF? Does that mean you'll be on hormone drugs over xmas?? Hope you're feeling ok?

@AHobbyaweek not going to lie I am super fascinated by the whole jury service thing; do you get lunch provided? I mean obviously the case is the interesting bit but as you can't talk about that I'm just interested in like the organisation of it all haha, maybe I'm just food obsessed; when I go on a course I'm always happy when lunch is provided 😂😂

Think all is good here, had some spotting a few days after my bfp but nothing since and the second test I did last week was really dark so just going with the hope all is good until I find out otherwise. Going to see about getting an early scan as my mc was only discovered at my 12week scan last time.I'm 6 weeks now so they will hopefully see something if it's there.

Have a good day everyone x

paintfairy · 08/12/2020 09:25

@franklydear usually I'm an out in the open person and I'd say its best to say something. But in this case maybe that might make him feel even worse? So I guess you need to work out if it would?(obviously you know him).

AHobbyaweek · 08/12/2020 09:31

@Clairey844 so we get £5.71 a day paid to us at the end to cover lunch expenses, don't need receipts. If we take in food we still get that money. Apparently normally we could get a voucher to spend at the mini canteen thing but atm they are only doing limited food and so you can but you have to pay and get the money back at the end.

Starting at 10:30 today so had a relaxing morning so far, much better than work!

Have a pad as I don't want to put my hand up in court and say "judge can I go to the loo as I have unexpected moistness"

Vil10 · 08/12/2020 09:44

@lucyrp glad your OH is okay!! Isn't it worrying!

DTD last night and want to again tonight really, 1 because I'm horny 2 because according to flo I ovulate tomorrow and had ewcm yesterday, but OH was up at 6:30 this morning for a big walk before walk, then he basically walks for a living, then he's going to the gym after work then got mma, so I feel like he's going to be way too tired to be up for DTD😒 might just have to jump on him! Hope everyone else is okay x

2alreadywantanother · 08/12/2020 09:48

@franklydear obviously the while ttc is harder on him then he let's on. Why dont men talk 🤔

I'm just in FW now. Dtd every 2nd day since af is gone. See if that method works.
Back take proceive. Even DH noticed the lack of energy since taking pregnacare. Looking now The proceive have way more in them. Expensive yes but worth it. Will keep DH on them even if I fall preggers

lucyrp · 08/12/2020 09:51

@Kirky658 I hadn't even though about that actually! He's supposed to have a regular appointment for his asthma with a nurse but of course being a man doesn't think he needs it ... same for the dentist!

@InkyPaper I was a bit annoyed because I wanted to ring an ambulance sooner as he had been bad since 4pm but he kept saying no I'm fine it'll calm down blah blah but when he woke me up in the night I knew I had to ring then. It's only my best friend at work today if I don't go in but she's said to stay at home as it won't be busy. I'm only down the road if she needs me anyway as work is 5 minutes away so think I'll stay at home not sure yet 🙈

@Minster2012 yes he's better thank you just need to keep a close eye on him now incase it gets bad again as its not fully better of course

@paintfairy I know why are they so against asking for help I do not know 😂 although I get his point that he thought he would have to stay in for 3 days and didn't want to but still he needed help 🙄

@Franklydear I tend to be his voice with anytning to do with hospital but of course at the moment I can't be so he doesn't like that! I had to tell the receptionist everything first then she said can you step to the left and repeat everything you've just told me to the nurse... great 🙄😂

@Clairey844 im currently still at home but could start at 10 but think I'm best staying at home, like I said my best friend is the only one in work but she said not to worry and I'm only down the road if she needs help ☺️

Minster2012 · 08/12/2020 10:12

@paintfairy I am concerned about your moistness 🤪do we need to send lube??

@Kirky658 Bailey's erghhhhhh I told you about my "cement mixer" for my 21st birthday right?? Line cordial shot, Bailey's shot....try it. 🤢🤮

@Clairey844 yeah I started the northisterone yesterday, as AF now MIA for 3 weeks so until Friday, to bring on AF before clinic closes for Xmas. Then AF next week then I need to take northisterone again from day 21 so that will be after Xmas and over new year. Then on hormones throughout jan. Yeah the joys. As is jan Blue's isn't bad anyway 😬Already it started giving me headaches yesterday.

@AHobbyaweek 10.30! We expect lots of fun from you before then! "Errr judge I'm moister than an oyster an not in a good way!"

@2alreadywantanother 🍆🍆🍆🍆

@lucyrp sorry about your DP's asthma. My DH has asthma as well though thankfully he hasn't had a bad attack since before I met him, he does quite regularly need an inhaler still though. We were so relieved that neither of the boys developed it -- our youngest is coming up for 6 now so I think quite unlikely to at this point, DH said it usually starts at 4 or 5.

I'm having the weirdest start to a cycle. I was pretty sure I had conceived last cycle. I get v. severe hyperemesis so in all 4 previous conceptions (two babies, two early losses years ago) the illness has always started about a week before my period was due and that's exactly what happened. I had a really stressful week as my Dad was in hospital with a serious heart issue and I had to dash across the country to help my Mum is also elderly and can't be on her own. I didn't have any tests with me but I was sure I was pregnant and I was going to do a test when I got back but I started bleeding very suddenly and heavily on Saturday whereas usually my period starts slowly with a few days of spotting so I thought probably a CP / false start, bit sad but I was OK. I bled heavily for 1 day, moderately for 1 more day and then it totally stopped. So weird! Usually my periods last a good week. This is my first cycle after having the copper coil out so maybe that's also made it shorter, but I don't know now whether that's it (but doesn't feel like enough bleeding somehow!) or whether I'm going to start bleeding again. I'm definitely not still pregnant my temps are really low and I did a cheap test just to be sure. Has anyone else had a really strange short period after a CP? I really want to keep trying this cycle but I'm now a bit worried I'm going to have some weird super-long cycle as my body resets itself.

amy2503 · 08/12/2020 10:50

I didn't know whether to post or not- I feel like all I do is be negative and worry about bringing people down. I'm just mentally struggling with all this so much. Having a baby is all I've ever wanted. I never thought TTC would be so hard emotionally on me. But the thought I may have to go through another period this month is Killing me already. I just want to cry. I struggle with my mental health a lot anyway, so I guess I'm extra sensitive when my anxiety is bad and with My fiancé struggling with work and being rundown too; I just feel so alone and so so sad and scared. I'm sorry for being such a downer, I'm trying to think positively, relax, all the normal stuff. But it's so incredibly painful.

2alreadywantanother · 08/12/2020 11:02

@amy2503 ah pet. It's hard on the best of us. I would generally be very head strong and its kicking my ass. Try not to stress. Easier said than done I know but stress certainly wont help things. We are here for each other. Dont feel bad about wanting a rant. We all need to let it out.

Just back from doctors. Have a throbbing sensation in my ear about a month now, maybe longer. I had a sissy spell just b4 it and my vision went blurry then this started. Its tinnitus (not sure if that's how its spelled) it's a viral infection in the nerves that can cause hearing loss 😢 I've to go for an urgent hearing test. She said she could kill me. When I said about it happening not long after mc she said it more than like caused the mc 😢😢 between that and the fucking trouble with my tooth and gum.
So my heads melted now.
