Why did I test? :(

I had an MC at 8 weeks in early October. AF arrived on 7th Nov - normal cycle is 26/27 days would mean AF due again this Thursday or Friday. I think I have been kidding myself that I am relaxed and don't expect anything to happen - I stupidly did a test this morning - knowing full well it was too early. BUT when it came back negative I was and am devastated. So not rational. I couldn't reasonably have expected anything else.

Sorry - just wanted to write it down - my head has been mush all day.

I didn't want to read and run. Sending you lots of hugs. I hope you feel better soon, and have people to support you. Do some nice things for yourself.. nice bath, face mask, some chocolate etc.

Thank you @bitofcoin for responding :)

I am a compulsive tester and have done this twice already this month. Hope is ridiculously powerful but it keeps us going! I was gutted, and annoyed that I'd unnecessarily put myself through as the test means nothing as it's too early anyway!

When are you due to test again?x

sodaPop5 · 01/12/2020 18:24

Thanks @MrsCremuel - I am going to wait until Friday or Saturday I think. I know AF doesn't always conform to normal timings for the first few cycles after MC so even then might be too soon.

Why do we torture ourselves?!

When will you be testing again? Hope there's a nice clear line for you when you do!

I suppose we should be grateful for cheap tests!! 😂

Absolutely grateful. Must be particularly difficult for you considering Flowers

Inam testing Saturday too, my cycles are very irregular so a but of guessing game really.

Good luck.x

Are you having any symptoms? I keep thinking I might be (slightly sore boobs, very slightly nauseated) but they are so slight they might be nothing.
